I had gastric bypass on the 19th of this month and still haven't had a BM. I've got plenty of gas and feeling that I need to go but so far, nothing has happened. I've been taking the colace stool softener twice a day and picked up some dulcolax last night to try to get some relief. Stomach is hard and feels like I have boulders inside. Am I not giving myself enough time or is something wrong?

Congratulations on your surgery! We are twinsies as my surgery was the 19th as well. I'm having issues with alot of hiccups which hurt right now and some constipation but other than that, seems ok as of now. Good luck in your journey and I hope you continue to feel better 😊 -

Just had my gastric bypass surgery this past Monday (Feb 19). Was super excited and nervous both all the way up to the day of. Still in alot of pain but determined to get better and get back to work as soon as possible I wish all of the February surgery buddies good luck and here's to a new beginning .
