    Food Before and After Photos

Late breakfast: Toasted low carb protein bread spread with a little bit of feta cheese, over easy egg cooked in a tiny bit of my homemade chilli crisp (tried to drain as much oil as I could), topped with more feta cheese and scallions. So good but I could hardly get through half of it. Will try again later. 225 calories for the whole thing, I plan to eat the rest later.

I found this high protein low cal ice cream and bought it in all flavours. It’s pretty solid and tastes good. I ate around a 100 calories.

@NickelChip Ingredients: - 500 grams of chicken breasts, thinly pounded - 1/2 medium onion, chopped - 3 cloves garlic, minced - 1 packet of mushrooms, sliced - 1 jar of sundried tomatoes, coarsely chopped - 1/2 packet of baby spinach - Light cooking cream - Fresh Parmesan, grated Grab your chicken breasts, pound them until they're thin, then marinate with a little olive oil, some salt, pepper, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder and onion powder then pan fry them until they're cooked around 80% through and set aside. If you have the patience to marinate for a few hours it makes all the difference! In the same pan add your onions, garlic, the sundried tomatoes (or half, whatever your preference is) and sauté until the onion is translucent, then add the sliced mushrooms. To that add around 1-1.5 cups of cooking cream (I used light cooking cream) I sometimes use 1 cup cooking cream and half a cup of milk, depends on the day. then add the same seasonings you used on the chicken to the sauce, I love to add chili powder but my kids eat the same food so I omit. once it's about to boil add back your chicken and let it cook until the chicken is cooked through, then add a few handfuls of baby spinach and top with freshly grated parmesan. Serve with white rice, noodles or just veggies!

  7. Omg the forgetfulness is so true! I didn't know it's a symptom of WLS! I keep forgetting important things and I was never like that! Explains a lot! Thank you lol.

  11. I am 4.5 months out, still early but lost the weight very fast and kept changing my goal weight, here is what I noticed: - I feel cold ALL THE TIME - My butt hurts when sitting down, because all the fat is gone - My whole life being athletic, I had an hourglass figure even when overweight the past few years, now I'm linear 🤣 - I am much much weaker to the point of struggling to lift my skinny 5 year old (weighing 16 Kgs) off the ground, I can't open water bottles, jars or even the protein chips bag (which is pretty tough to crack if I say so myself) - I have this weird type of digging pain under the right side of my rib cage, feels like something used to be there and now it's hollow and it's uncomfortable, it's weird I can't even explain it - My period pains have decreased significantly and my cycles went from 35 days to 28 days, go figure Ha! - My boobs remain perky thank goodness, but can't say the same about my rear as mentioned - My hair is falling like crazy, which freaks me out because it's not something I ever experienced, even postpartum - My body hair growth has slowed down drastically - My voice is softer (it's weird but I swear it's true) If any other weird phenomenon's come to mind, I will be sure to come back

Hi there! My first contribution to this thread, I have been silently getting inspiration from all the yummy food pics y’all post. 4.5 months out, here’s my dinner for today (also my post leg workout meal): Homemade Teriyaki Chicken, 2 tsps white rice, broccolini. Ate the whole thing (around 229 calories)
  17. This has really given me perspective. The whole "reset" and "new metabolism" is such a nice way of putting it. I have increased my calories on the days I workout to a 1000, let's see how it goes. Thank you very much ❤️
  18. You look AMAZING! really well done! I am so happy for you and I hear everything you say. I have increased my intake on the days I workout to a 1000, let's see how it goes ❤️
  19. Hi darling, Thank you for your elaborate reply, I appreciate it. So to answer some of your questions: I had the sleeve, it was the best option for my size and BMI. I do not have any comorbidities, on the contrary, I was healthy and worked out consistently for over 15 years. My problem is kind of unusual, I maintained a BMI of 22-23 my entire adulthood through working out, eating well, all sorts of cardio and resistance training, I actually am a certified trainer and nutritionist. Had my first child and snapped back, had my second and snapped back quickly too, then 2 months later my body blew up and I gained over 20 lbs in one month and struggled to lose weight after that. Back in 2022 I had a very bad foot injury practicing Taekwondo and was in a cast for 4 weeks, I couldn't move without pain and my mobility was greatly affected and I gained another 40 lbs and since then no matter what I did, how little I ate and how intensely I worked out I couldn't lose a single gram, my weight kept going up and my foot started killing me that I needed to bring my weight down, I even tried injectables (Liraglutide) and not a single gram dropped. So after struggling for 5 years and my foot injury worsening I decided to get the surgery. I know how it sounds being upset when I have reached my goal, it is just terrifying to me to gain weight again or go back to what my reality was pre-op. I really really don't want to be overweight again, hence wanting to lose a few more KGs to ensure that I have some wriggle room I try to get in 1-1.5 liters of fluid a day, keep my carbs under 55, try to hit my 65 grams of protein. I take my vitamins daily and I try to workout 3 days a week, doesn't always happen but I get in at least 2 sessions a week. Hope this answers your questions. Thank you again
