I took the week off so that I could rest. I'm glad to hear everything went well for you too. I was up and about soon after surgery too with no pain meds. I agree, it was much easier than I anticipated as well, especially after reading threads. Again, I'm glad you are doing well. Keep in touch.

I'm doing a lot of walking, and I mean a lot. I'm also taking Milk of Mag. This helps, but mostly walking. The gas is not really that bad, but I continue to move around because I don't want it to creep up on me. Be sure to let me know how you are whenever you feel like it after surgery. I will be praying for you.
