Thanks for this view, relationship dynamics after WLS interest me. Some in the community have divorced and or broke up due to insecurities present, some are going strong. I hope that your fella reaches his health goals as well! Tell him you're ready to swing from the ceiling in the bedroom 😂😂. Tell him he needs to match your drive ha.

@Chatterboxdea when I was newly post op someone in the bariatric community told me to keep some old cloths! I am so glad I did. When you've been obese for so long your mind plays tricks with you. Psychologically I think I have not came far but when I put on old cloths it is a testament. I also have to take many before and after photos.

Win: I'm 7 months post op today. Im reflecting and saying to myself GIRL YOU DID THE WORK! The WORK is REAllY hard, but the benefit outweighs the hard work. Unfortunately, with the disease of obesity the work is continuous, but Feeling great in my clothing, the ability to have more energy, more movement, and no longer having to take diabetes medicine are all major wins. Today I will embark upon a new journey now that I'm about 20 plus pounds from goal weight, I have invested in my health (a very easy on the eyes 😂😂personal trainer who will work on lifting these glutes and tighten the thighs) time to put in more work 🤘🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽#bariatricwins

This is a thread I started about the MALE GAZE and the bariatric experience, a question was asked about a Female Gaze and it was answered. Public forum or not if one is asked about their experience with the female species and it's answered then it is what it is. I welcome all responses but it won't be a continuum back and forth. I'm already bored 😂😂😂. "You just say that word "Women" and I'm already yawning (women don't REV up my nether regions 😂)....back to the MALE GAZE. Now MEN I can talk about them all day! I think I'm going to put on a small dress and go get some MALE GAZES 😂😂😂. Reading some of these post it looks like I will have to get used to the MALE GAZE. So therefore I will go have a little fun. I will have to not be as pissed.

@GreenTealaelAs far as interactions with my fellow female associates, I can't call them friends, I have strategically stayed away from them. Im a big MAN person love males. I've never invested much time with women. I've always had issues with jealousy. I can't help the powers that be took a little extra time with me. On the polar opposite side I attract ALL women 😩😩😩. An oxy. I don't care how they feel to be honest 😂. There is an insecurity present, that I can't help them with. So it is what it is. Sorry I'm kind of mean ha.

@GreenTealael This is the recipe for the chocolate that goes in your Peanut Butter cup molds. I do not use honey..I use a sugar substitute personal preference. The filling I do homemade unsalted cashew butter in my ninja or homemade unsaltedpeanut butter in my ninja for the filling. My sweet tooth is still alive and well..I guess that's why I never had issues with the protein shakes during this journey. Today I am making a bariatric friendly homemade peanut butter cup/cashew butter cup. So good!

I am glad you and your man is going strong relationship wise, I wish I would have meet someone when I was a bit larger, I think I might would have appreciated them more. Now I'm just pissed and trying not to fall back into old hurtful heartbreaker habits, as I'm mad as hell that all of sudden the dating prospects have increased whoooo hooo 🙄🙄🙄. Then again I try to look at it from a none biased prospective. Can I really get mad at the male for wanting that slim waist/ fit chic 😂.

Welp I work from home and have not set foot in my local office in forever! We'll today it rains and the power decides to shut off! It always rains here not sure what is new. I was like oooh no I have no cloths, I have not shopped for work cloths yet. Then I thought look again. Wow I am able to fit back in my work shirts from like 5 plus years ago. They still look like new I grew rather large rather quickly and never got to put them to good use. Major WIN 🏆

I keep wanting to shop in the plus size or curve sizes online and i believe im just in a regular Large or Xl now. Crazy! I put on some previous 4x I. My closet crazy how it swallows me.

As we all know loosing the weight after bariatric surgery can be quick and easy, but I have noticed throughout various bariatric groups, That maintenance seems to be the hardest. What were some of your Keys to success that helped you maintain your goal weight over the years? What was steadfast and True?
