I am going to be banded September 24

Hi All I am to be banned on September 24th. I work at the hospital that I am being banned at and see the results of obesity and diabetes that is out of control. So if it takes me along time or what ever at least I will have a better chance of not ending up a helpless person who is not able to take care of themselves.

I agree I work at Fletcher Allen and get to see the effects of obesity and diabetes that are out of contol and do not intend to end up like this

Oh I feel your pain!!! My doc allows 1200 cal and I have a tough time with that I am due to be banded on Sept 24th as well. I try to go to bed early and sleep through my hunger. My doc also said I could eat fiber tablets. I coant' exercise on these calories as well -
Hi I am new to this board and I guess I am the only person being banded on the 24th. I am lucky in that I work for the hospital and only live a mile from it

Hi I have the same surgery date as you do and am also struggling with the liquid diet
