Just had The Talk with my doctor..

I had PCOS for decades which involved several surgeries; I eventually had a hysterectomy. I chose the sleeve and due to the amount of adhesions I have from previous abdominal surgeries the bypass is not feasible. That being said, I would probably have chosen the sleeve over the bypass anyway.
  2. Tracking what you are eating may help you. I have not had my surgery yet, but I use an app to track what I eat. It is called Bariatastic and is free. It will track your calories, protein, carbs, fat, etc. It also will remind you about drinking water and taking vitamins. Also has some really good recipes.

The zozofit suit looks very interesting! It would definitely be useful when I stsrt sewing for myself again.

    December Surgery Buddies!

I am lucky, my husband cooks and will be making his own meals during the prep and after surgery.

    December Surgery Buddies!

Hello Everyone! I am also new to the community. I am having a gastric sleeve on 12/27. I have been investigating the sleeve for many years, but the timing is finally right. I had my first appointment with my surgeon in the beginning of August and got the go ahead two weeks ago. I've been reasearching, prepping, and planning my butt off! 😊 Looking forward to sharing the journey with all of you!
