I’m at weak and beginning soft foods. I have this terrible taste in my mouth since my VSG. Anyone else experience this? If so, how long did it last and how did you get rid of it? I can’t stand to eat or drink because of the taste! -

I’m in my second week of puréed diet. I also had two weeks puréed. My VSG was 12/04 and I’m looking forward to moving to soft foods next week. During the puréed, I have eaten ricotta bake; mashed potatoes; grits and eggs. Otherwise, protein shakes…. -

I had my gastric sleeve on December 04, 2023. I am so hungry being on liquids only. Hard to keep my mind off the hunger. I am very excited for having my surgery but I’m just so hungry. -

I had my gastric sleeve on Dec 4 and it went well. My hardest thing is staying hydrated and being hungry often. I sip all kinds of broth so I don’t get tired of the Protein20 and Gatorade zero. I also take Protgold and I have a liquid vitamin called NutraMetrix (calcium complete and multivitamin with iron). My dietitian approved these vitamins for me. -
