  1. Have babies. What's so bad about that? There are alot of people who would love to care for those unwanted babies.
  2. Noone takes away a persons entire lifes chance to become born again except the person who chooses to murder someone and then gets the death penalty for it. The murderer took his own chance away. Not the christian who follows God's laws, and not God himself. The murderer did that to himself by commiting murder. So, it's not up to me, or others who believe as I do to decide who gets to live or die. When the death penalty is the consequence for murder, then it is up to the individual himself to decide. If he does what's right in life and keeps his hands to himself, he gets to LIVE. If he murders someone, he gets to DIE. Also, the medical professional is the one who decides if continuing a pregnancy is life threatening to a woman or not, not me or others who believe as I do.
  3. God forgives anyone if they ask him to and are sincere, but that doesn't mean he takes away the consequenses.
  4. An organ is something TOTALLY different than a human being.
  5. Not to me. What's better? Killing babies or getting rid of some forms of birth control? Gee, that's a hard one to answer.
  6. There are many christian denominations that practice infant baptism for that reason, but they are wrong in their reason for it and their view on baptism. The bible teaches that baptism is a public, outward, act of obedience to God. It is something that God asked those who have made a choice to believe in Him to do as a 'symbolic' act of faith. It symbolizes a believers acceptance of Jesus as their Savior and it symbolizes how Jesus died (going under the water) and rose again (coming up out of the water). It doesn't 'save' anyone and is not a requirement for Heaven. It doesn't wash away anyones sin, either. Only Jesus can do that when someone decides to be his. Some denominations just never read the bible. They make up their own doctrine and rules as they feel fit. This is another reason for my disdain for organized 'religion'.
  7. First of all, as you know, we don't agree that the baby is a 'clump of fetal matter'. I believe it is a human life at the beginning stage. I believe in the death penalty for those who have been proven without doubt to have committed mureder and for those who have confessed to it. To take anothers life is murder. But to take anothers life as a cosequence for that persons murdering someone is not murder, it is justice. God allows the killing of human beings as restitution for the act of murdering another. He doesn't allow the killing of a baby in the womb for any reason except, I believe, to save the life of the mother. (self defense)

Isn't it amazing how after he lapband, and eating very carefully by making better choices for ourselves because we can only put a small amount of food into our stomachs, that we now full understand what is an atrocious meal is? Before the lapband, I would have eaten that and had no problem with it. I would have thrown in one of their side salads as well, and felt I was getting a good lunch. Now that I can only hold a few bites of food at a time, I make very good choices before I put anything in my mouth. I love the band!
  9. What else would you like me to call someone who kills someone else? We could make up another word for that if you like, but why? After thinking about it, I believe a "murderer" is someone who had an evil intent to get rid of another persons life. I think that 'most' pregnant women are not guilty of evil intent. I think they just don't contemplate that another human beings life is ending when they make that decision to abort. They are probably thinking about what they will endure if they continue with the pregnancy and don't think about the baby, because the baby isn't in the eyes view. So, they may not have the "intent" to murder, but that's what the end result of their decision was. A dead person.
  10. ALL humans are born sinners. That's what that means. When I say a baby is innocent, I mean he didn't do anything deserving of death. He's innocent of any crime. Not that he will never be a sinner in his life. We're all sinners. That's like a person who gets convicted of a crime and gets the death penalty. He's deserving of death. He did something wrong. (he's also a sinner) But a baby (even though he is born a sinner also) didn't do anything wrong , yet he gets killed.

    Last person to post WINS!

I did a mess of yard work today, so I deserve this award!
  12. What are your reasons for posting these svriptures? Because I understand that EVERYONE is a sinner. I'm not saying that I'm not a sinner, because I sin every day of my life, and will admit that to anyone. So, I don't get where you are going?
  13. Not everyone, myself included, would go so far as to protest outside planned parenthood. And some people don't like controversy, and some people don't want to speak up for other reasons. That's their business. And, who says that people who don't post here and just read the forum trashes people who have had abortions? That's pretty presumptuous of you, isn't it? BTW, I am not trashing anyone who has had an abortion either. I know that people in this world, myself included, don't always do the right thing. I believe in forgiveness. (I know you may feel that those who have had abortions may not feel they did anything in need of forgiveness, and if you don't, then that's fine. It's what you believe. But I believe it is wrong to end a life at any stage of development, and therefore believe it is a sin to have an abortion, and thus in need of forgiveness from God.)
  14. I shall try to be more careful about 'how' I say what I want to say.

    Domino's Bread Bowl

I don't know about any of you, but with my band, I have a hard time eating pasta and bread. It gets stuck. Also, 1400 calories isn't even possible for me in a whole day. I can remember a day, though, when it was VERY possible, and then I'd eat again later in the day! lol!
  16. I would like to add this..... I understand that you people I debate with don't care for my style. I am not here to offend anyone. If you've been offended by me, I apologize. My only interest in debating these controversial issues to share what I believe is the reason why they should not be acceptable by mankind. (mainly, that God does not approve of them) If you don't agree with me, that certainly is your right, as I don't agree with some of you. I seriously considered ending my LBT conversations, but reconsidered mainly due to all of the many personal emails I receive from others who tune in and read, but don't post, who tell me that I am right on in what I say and tell me that they follow my posts, and encourage me to continue. Others who feel the same way that I do about abortion, homosexuality, prostitution, etc., but aren't quite able to speak up on the Lords behalf and what He has to say about sin as I am.
  17. I didn't ask you in order to get 'proof' that you believe in God. I was asking simply to know. It would clarify to me your beliefs. Pretty much everything that we take a stand on has to do with what we were taught, raised into, have come to believe as we got older, our backgrounds, education, etc. I was curious about yours. Sorry to have intruded. As far as being 'positive' about having the truth in life, I can say that I DO feel positive. Most people feel positive in the paths they have chosen for themselves, otherwise they wouldn't be on that particular path. So what? There is no crime in that.
  18. You have me pegged wrongly here. I wasn't being vicious in any way. I sincerely wanted to know . And,....... I adressed this to bjeans thread. I wasn't even questioning you.
  19. Everything that is told in the scriptures is told for a reason. So that mankind can learn from it. For instance. The story of the bear....Elisha pronounced a curse similar to the covenant curse of Leviticus 26:21-22. The result of what happened to the youths who jeered at Elisha, God's prophet, gave warning of the judgement that would come on the entire Nation should it persist in disobedience and apostasy. Thus Elisha's first acts were indicative of his ministry that would follow: God's covenant blessings would come to those who looked to him, but God's covenant curses would fall on those who turned away from him. Like I said, You need to read the 'whole' thing, not just pick out verses to back up what you believe.
  20. There are many scriptures that talk about God forming a life in the womb, and the baby in the womb being a living being. There are also scriptures that talk about the punishment that anyone who deliberately or even accidentaly hurts or strikes a pregnant woman and her baby is killed in the process should receive. I will look them up if you want specifics. just ask.
  21. Oh really? You do believe in God? What's his name?
  22. I didn't say every person I know, I said just about every person I know.
  23. What about the girl or the woman? What can be done after she's already carrying the child? NOTHING. It's done. She needs to carry it and give birth. She needs to have alot of support and counsel. She needs to know that this is not just about HER. That there is another life involved here, that sometimes what life throws at you may stink, but even so, that's the way it is. If she was raped, she needs to understand that bad people do bad things and because of that others are affected through no fault of their own. She needs to do the right thing for the innocent one in her womb. She needs to sacrifice 9 months of her life for the sake of the other life within her. She needs to carry and deliver a baby. Then, after that, she can go on with her life. (and look back on that time with no regrets) For even if you deny it till you're blue in the face, if she had an abortion, she would have killed an innocent human being! Just about every woman that I know who had an abortion has had sorrow and remorse and grief and regret over what they have done. These feelings don't come because they did a 'good and righteous' thing. They come because they did a 'sinful' thing. If what they did was okay in God's eyes, they would never feel remorse or regret. But I believe that deep down inside every person, they KNOW that abortion is wrong. They just don't want to admit it.
  24. Now it's just a 'procedure'? Well, to me, it's not a 'procedure'? It's murder to me. Tome, that 'procedure' is not worthy of good and caring and tolerant, peaceful people!
