    Octuplets and SIX other children??!!!

    hey, very nice!!!
  2. Just because the majority in the world doesn't do what's right, does that mean we should make our laws to go according to the wrong doers?
  3. It takes a village (or all the people) to stop harm from coming to innocent people. It doesn't take a village to RAISE a child, like Clinton states.

    Obamanomics: Bad for the economy...

Obama essentially fired an executive of a private corp. Isn't that a new interpretation of the commander in chief? How is that defending the constitution? If he believes the constitution is irrelevent why did he take the oath of office? He said clearly before he was elected that the constitution was outdated and irrelevent. I can't find anywhere in our constitution where it says our gov. owes us a job, income, homes and healthcare. It guarantees us only the pursuit of happiness. No where does it say that one group of citizens should take care of any other group by force from the gov. Our founding Fathers saw enough of that in Europe and they made sure to protect us from that form of dictatorship. Besides freedom of religion, people were attracted to this country for their right to own private property. This was unheard of in Europe. It's the foundation of capitalism. Some say, "The very wealthy have not been made to do their part by having some of their largess taken from them to contribute to the well being of all." I translate that, "The very wealthy have not been FORCED to do their part by having some of their private property STOLEN from them for the well being of all." People should be able to give to the charitys of their choice. I'm not just saying this because I may be effected, cause I won't be. We are not a very wealthy family. I say it out of fairness for all people dispite the amount of income they have.

    Obamanomics: Bad for the economy...

I read the letters to the editors every day in the newspaper. I read 2-3 letters that are written by people who are just flabergasted by Obama's decision making and spending every day. There is NEVER any letters talking about all the good he is doing since his election. I believe it is hard for those who voted for him to see that he is making some dumb moves, and they themselves probably can't believe that this is what he meant by 'Change'.

    Obamanomics: Bad for the economy...

I'm not saying that Bush was 'The man'. Why is it that everytime someone comments on what Obama is doing right now, they go back to what Bush did back then. We can't change the past mistakes on any presidents part whether dem or rep. So, As pres. Obama takes our government into the automoblie business, the mortgage and banking business, the healthcare business, the energy business and the environmental planning business, he is working on a basic premis that we'll be better off if we turn more of our lives and resources over to gov. bureaucrats to manage. Not only has this been tried many times (social security) but it has failed every time. There was a learning oportunity with social security that was missed by our government. The social engineering made sence when Roosevelt was in office because the country had 40 people working per 1 retired person back then. Now it's 3-1.The problem is the world constantly changes, but gov.programs don't. Other gov. conceived and managed dinosaurs, medicare and medicaid, are in even worse shape. Reinventing America by bringing government management to our auto, banking, energy and health care industries? You might like this idea if you ignore all the past experiences!

    Is God real?

God isn't vengeful, spiteful or selfadoring. He is very loving, caring and compassionate. He shows much grace and mercy. Whenever people talk about biblical things, their hearts become one of two things. harder or softer. If their hearts turn harder because they have heard something biblical that God taught, and they can not accept it for some reason, they tend to turn away from God. If their hearts turn softer because of something biblical that God taught, they tend to turn toward God and want to learn more about his love for them. It all depends on the person and whether they are ready to accept what God says about salvation or not. If I have come off as pushy and self righteous, please forgive me, for that's not how I really am. I know better than anyone else how unrighteous I truly am. As for the pushy part, I feel that I am only giving truthful replys, IMO. I don't mean to be pushy. Sorry.

    Is God real?

When I say "it's not what's written over the door", I mean 'christian' denomination doors. For there are many differing denominations of christianity.(catholic, protestant, pentecostal.methodist, baptist, etc.) I'm not speaking of 'other' religions that aren't Christian.

    Is God real?

Sometimes the truth isn't what you want to hear. I can't sugar coat it. Sorry. God is just. He loves all of his creation and he wants all to come to him and choose life with him eternally, but he is not going to force anyone to love him back. He could have easily created you to be a robot or a puppet, for he is God and can do anything he wants, but he chose to give you free will and allow you to use it. I wish you well, too. God bless you.

    Is God real?

I have read up on many different religions. I have done much research. I have alot of books on other religions. I don't like organized religion. It is the root cause of many of the worlds problems. I was brought up in the Catholic denomination of Christianity, but once I read the bible from beginning to end at age 24, I realized that those in authority in that denomination never read it. For their rules, doctrine and regulations are far from the teachings that God gave us in his book. The basic truth of Jesus being the Savior is taught in Catholicism, and that's a good thing, but most of their other doctrines don't line up with God's book. So, I looked for a christian denomination that was trying to follow as closely to the word of God as is humanly possible. No church denomination is perfect. I chose to attend an Assembly of God church. They have some quirks like other denominations, but as long as you understand that its not what's written over the door of the building, but what's in your heart that counts, for God says that the church is not the building, but that the many believers in him are the church. I then went to Berean Bible College, and became a minister of the gospel. I only went to school to learn more about Jesus, and not to be a minister, so I don't minister in a church. I teach a girls christian scouting group and have taught Sunday school and other classes.

    Is God real?

The difference is that unbelievers are NOT Gods children...... until they have chosen to be. Until then, they are merely his creation. Here is a scenerio to better understand it. There is a man who owns a vineyard. He hires men to work in it. He hires his own son and another man. They both slack off and don't do any work at all. The son is even worse than the hired hand. When the owner comes, he sees that they have both done no work. What does he do? He fires the hired hand, kicks him out on his butt. But what of the son? Does he throw him out? No. He may discipline him, cut his pay off, etc., but cast him away, Never. For he is his son. The son will always be his son. This is how God is with us. If you choose to be adopted by God into his family, he wants you. He loves you and will give you his inheritance. But if not, you are like the hired hand. Not his child. The difference is in how God views the sin of both. When the believer(God's child) sins, God forgives and forgets it.(oh, he will discipline the believer in this life and in the next for there are consequences for sin) But when the unbeliever (the hired hand) sins, there is no defense for him. No one to plead his case before the Father. He is not allowed to live with God, for he's not his child. All the rest of creation will live eternally without their creator in a place God named Hell.

    Is God real?

I apologize. Sorry. I didn't mean to expect to keep those who don't believe out of the discussion. I meant it for one who had posted with me elsewhere who would get angry with me if I brought God into a conversation. Sorry.

    Is God real?

If God created other worlds besides ours, that is his perogative. But the scripture doesn't tell us anything about it. If he did create other worlds and people, whose to say they are bound by the same rules and teachings he has for us?
  14. No, I don't agree with Clinton. It takes 2 parents to raise a child. But while they live in the village with others, if they see someone in danger, they should help them.
  15. No kidding. Thus why God planned for men and women to get married, and then have sex and children. He planned for the parents to care for them. And rape, incest and sexual imorality was not in his plan. Even so, there is no reason why in an unperfect world women who get pregnant can't protect the child until it is born. Why make 2 wrongs out of 1?
  16. Do you know what a scenerio is? (It's not real.) The moral of the scenerio is to show that if there is a life in danger and someone can do something about it, they should.
  17. We are ALL responsible for everyone around us. If a child falls in a well, a whole nation will rally around to support the child and help. We all should be caring for each other. And the innocent child in the womb is like the child who fell in a well. Only the childs own mother is committing the atrocity.
  18. A newborn baby can not survive without its mother either. So what's the difference? Why do you say that we don't feel the mother is important? We do. It's just that no one is trying to kill her, so we aren't concerned for her life. It's the life of the baby we are trying to save! Duh! Sometimes in life, we have to go through things we don't like or want to go through for the sake of others. For instance, (this is just a scenerio, so don't get bent out of shape about it) If I knew that the only way my child could get the medical care he needed for his cancer treatment to save his life was to work for a man who beat me every day, I would do it for the sake of my child. I would endure until he got his treatment and then quit the job. I'd be grateful that I was able to save his life, even though it cost me plenty and I had to put my 8 hours in every day. I'd do it to save his life. Now, if a woman gets pregnant and doesn't want the baby, she should endure (all it takes, yes, even if she was raped) till the 9 months are over and then give the child to someone who would want it. To save his life. All life is worth saving.

    Is God real?

Jesus didn't doubt who he was on the cross. Jesus was sinless up to that point, and once he was on the cross and the sins of the entire human race was placed upon him, God the Father left him, because he can not be in the presence of sin, for he is holy. Jesus had never been separated from the Father and the Holy spirit, for all three beings make up one being, God. When this happened, he was no longer God, but human, and questioned, as we would, 'Why has his father forsaken him?"

    Is God real?

See above for replys Exclusive has 2 meanings. One , that we don't allow any others in. Which isn't true at all. God hopes that all will turn to him. OR Two, Jesus is the only way.(which is what I think you mean) Well, God says so. Not me. If you are putting your faith in Buddah or Allah or Mother Earth or anyone else except God (Jesus)to bring you into Heaven after you die, you will not make it there.(according to the Holy Scriptures) Just think.... If your child refused to acknowledge you all his life and chose someone else to be his father (Allah or Buddah, etc.) and never wanted anything to do with you, how could you not give him what he wanted after he died, which is to be without you. God will give all unbelievers exactly what they have chosen. He gives us a free will to make that choice in this life.

    Is God real?

The immaculate conception of Mary is a catholic doctrine that was made up by someone in that denomination that states that Mary was born without a sinful nature like the rest of us humans. The problem with this teaching is that it is nowhere taught in the bible. Thus, the importance of reading the scriptures before choosing a christian denomination to attend. Actually, it is taught in the bible that only Jesus was born without sin. In Mary's song or prayer as recorded in Luke chapter 1 she says, "I rejoice in God my savior." Anyone who needs a savior, has sinned. Therefore, Mary herself admits she was a sinner. What do you mean when you say there is no evidence outside of the bible that Jesus was reborn? I ask because I've never read in the bible about him being reborn. born, yes. reborn, no.

    Is God real?

Sin is only forgivable by God. And He says that putting your faith in his son, Jesus, is the only way for forgiveness of sins. (ANY sins, from murder, to lying, to thinking impure thoughts, whatever) The apostle John wrote...."I write these words (refering to the bible) to you so that you wont sin. But if anyone does sin, we have one who speaks to the father in our defense, Jesus Christ, the righteous one." God doesn't allow sin into heaven, but if you recognize that it's not possible to live this life without sinning and that you are in need of someone to take your punishment for you so you can get into heaven when you die, then Jesus is the one. So, if you believe in him, he will defend you on that day. If you ask God to forgive you, he will. Once you understand what Jesus did for you, and you accept his gift of salvation, you will no longer desire to commit the wrongs you have done in the past. You will always sin. every day. The Holy Spirit will convict you of it. But what Jesus did in dying on the cross for you will always cover your sin,(the sins you did in the past, the present and even your future sins) and God will not see it. Believers have peace and joy about death and dying because we understand that we can't ever be good enough to enter into heaven, yet it's ok, God will allow us in because Jesus paid the penalty for us already. Sorry to say, but unbelievers don't have that peace about dying, because they are not sure of their destiny. And to be frank, it would scare me to not know for sure if I was going to heaven or not. Volcano lady, I hope you will change your mind about not wanting anything to do with God. Because he loves you. Don't take my word for anything here, read God's word for yourself.

    Obamanomics: Bad for the economy...

No. That was only a thought I had about it. It's easy to blame G. Bush for everything. But this financial crisis did not begin with him. It was spawned under Bill Clinton, when banks were forced to give mortgages to those who could not (and never would) make the payments. Obama is a socialist who is inexperienced for the job he has managed to snag. He has 'sucked up' to Iran, a grave threat to Europe and the U.S. He tried to play footsie with Russia behind the backs of our European allies, and the Russians made the fact public and sneered at us. He has offended our closest allie, Great Britain, by his less than cordial reception of Prime Minister Gordon Brown and by sending back the bust of W. Churchill to the British Embassy. I don't think the gift he gave the Queen was appropriate. And didn't anyone que them in on proper edicate before they got there? You are not supposed to touch the Queen.
