    I'm glad you addressed Bad Knees - I have really bad ones also. Spurs, Arthritis, etc... I'm planning to get a pait of these, but wondering - which style do you have? I've seen the Sneakers, and a Mary Jane style. Debating on the MJ for work, and everyday, but wld feel foolish outside "Walking" with sweats and mj's !! lol And i Can't afford 2 pairs ! ( can't even afford 1 , but need to do something for me ) Any thoughts? Comments? Snide Remarks? heheheeh

    Holy Cow ! Ok, so I havent bought any new clothes in years, and I mean that literally .... I just dont like to shop for clothes, unless Its for something i specifically need. So, since surgery, my things are practically falling off of me, so i broke down yesterday, and went to CJ Banks. I was a 28 for the past 15+ years, so I figured i must NOW be down to a 24, or maybe even a 22 .... nope - an 18 !!!!!!!!! Holy crap!! I was just stunned! I actually cried in the dressing room, and called 5 people I knew who would appreciate it ! LOL Wow, this is all SOOOOOO worth it :-) I just had to share ....

  10. "I guess I'm just having an issue with the fact that I CAN eat more than I think I should. Most ppl say they couldn't even eat 1/2 of this food even if they tried. I didn't even blink, it all went down without a prob, whxich honestly, was a bit dissappointing. But I don't think I'll be doing this again anytime soon. Lol " I can totally understand. Until i got my last fill, i COULD eat a burger, no problem, but knew I SHOULDN'T eat one. And it didn't really matter. Now, with my last fill, i couldnt even eat a half. And absolutely NO bread! the buns get stuck. Too soft. and i can eat about 4 french fries. And oddly enough, thats more than enough to satisfy my craving :-) SO be careful what you eat, and how much. But with the next fill or two, if you feel you need them, you won't be able to eat the same way you are now. THEN you'll feel like "yeah, this is what I went thru all of this for" Good Luck! We're SO worth it !!!! :-)

    Ya! So?? What about it ?????? lol Sorry, couldn't resist. But yes, The moods were definitely in full swing, so to speak, for about 9 months. I'm much better now. I was banded a year ago in October. I hope things calm down for you soon :-)

    Dropping clothing sizes??

    I agree - i'm down 65 pounds, and I'm still wearing the same clothes too. OK, i NEED new clothes because these are literally falling off of me now, but I dont have a lot of money to spend, so after christmas, I'm going to go out and get a few Basics - Black slacks , Gray or Brown slacks, tops for work , new bras and panties. That ALONE will cost a fortune! lol When i find out what size I am, I'll post on here again and let you know :-) Oh, i started out as a 26/28 on the bottom, and 22/24 on the top
  14. Congrats !!!! I'm SO looking forward to boots. I've ALWAYS wanted a pair of " Horse Riding Boots" , you know, up to the knee, barely a heel. I cant get my foot into anything like that - for one thing, my feet have gone flat over the years with the weight , and secondly , my calves are too fat also. But the day I can get into them ?? I use them as my Dangling Carrot, so to speak :-) I also had an NSV of my own a few nights ago. I sat on the edge of the bed, getting my bf up for work, and i was able to ....... ( drum roll .... ) Cross my legs!!! I know it seems so trivial to most, but i havent been able to cross my legs since my early college years ! I was just talking to him, and i realized "my legs are crossed" ! Who can i share this with ??? LOL :ohmy: NSV's are the best, aren't they ??

  21. OK - Let's review, shall we?? :smile2: First off - Congrats on the 20 pounds ! Thats 20 pounds less to carry around on your back and knees ... 1600 Calories - True, most do need 1000 - 1200 in order to lose weight. However, it's not carved in stone any where. Alot of it can depend on WHAT your calories consist of. Complex or Simple Carbs ? Protein ? Sugars ? etc... Always, Always, eat your protein first, before ANYTHING else ! I was skeptical at first, but it really DOES fill you up faster :tongue2: I'm sure you have SOME head Hunger , as we all did at first. However, you could need all 10 cc's to find your sweet spot. Don't rule it out! Again, 30 min a day is wonderful ! It's a whole lot more than some do on a daily basis ( some of us shall remain nameless :nono: ) At least you're moving, and as busy as you are, you should be proud of yourself for that! With the GB or the Sleeve, you may lose the weight quicker, but its not healthier. And the re-gain of weight is much more probable. With the Band, you're learning a whole new way of life , eating , drinking, exercise, and frame of mind. If you eat something bad, get over it and move on. No need to beat yourself up. Just start over ... ONE HOUR AT A TIME! ok ??? Now Chin Up ! You're so worth it !! :thumbup:
  22. Hey Hey Electra ! How's the Ass Kickin' going ?? :-) I'm doing pretty well today, actually. Still fighting with the same 3-8 pounds that insist on bouncing up and down, but i have a fill on friday, so HOPEFULLY that will help get things moving again! :-)

    Woo-Hoo !!!! 52 pounds! Thats Awesome ! I'm down 62 this first year, and hope to do another 62 or so this next year :-) Then I'll be at goal. What type of exercise are you doing? Are you measuring your food? I do sometimes, but not ALL the time. Just wondering if anyone else does. Keep us posted on how you're doing, ok?? And thanks for responding! I was beginning to feel all alone here :-(
