Char v , 16 days post op and still on liquids ? Today is my 10th day post op and I’m still on liquids hoping on my upcoming 1st post op appointment with my surgeon he’ll say when I can start soft foods. -

Wow 10 days post op , 4 days post op and your already allowed to eat? My DS surgery was November 9th and I’m instructed to still follow a liquid diet. I’m dying here I want FOOD! All I have is broth, water sugar free jello decaf tea water and more water, oh and sugar free ice pops.. my mouth is dry and my tummy is empty I want solids.

Oh my goodness so it is normal this pain. I really don’t like taking pain killers. I’m trying to deal with it. Anyways congratulations and good luck on your new life! -

I’ve had the gastric sleeve January of 2015, gained a good amount of my weight back. Decided to take another approach and do it RIGHT this time around. 2 week pre op was tough but possible.. Now I’m post op 11/9/23 I had the switch. Thanks god everything went well! Just here with some pain and anxious to start my next phase :puréed 🤮 -
