i thought i would have to stop it before surgery and when i asked my surgeon he looked at me like i was crazy lol i even took the pill morning of surgery with a sip of water. i would think they would want you to continue it though because i heard when you drop weight fast you are more likely to become pregnant very fast.

When my 90 day supply runs out ill check out the other brands. Thank You!

i was 2 weeks liquids, 2 weeks mushies, 2 weeks soft hardest part was liquids but i lost alot in those 2 weeks just get creative!

I was itchy for a week I was convinced the dogs gave me fleas LOL but we are all flea free and the itch is gone

Just a warning for egg salad though...it made me want to pb for 2 days and I had to go back on liquids to feel better. I don't exactly know why because I can eat scrambled but it just taught me to try new things at home LOL Goodluck!

I had about 20 last meals just don't let it affect your preop diet and you will learn nothing is forbidden with the band you just need to come to terms with eating a bite or two and walking away. I'm only four weeks out and it's hard but I'm really learning it's just food and whatever is your craving will not disapear from the planet so it's ok to eat to bites, you will be able to have it again if that makes sense

I am switching yo soft foods this saturday and from my list all it really looks like is you keep the same foods as mushy and add in fruit. Does this sound right?

I'm almost 4 weeks postop with no fill yet and after I ate egg salad yesterday I got this wierd uncomfortable feeling I guess it's in my esophagus I have not bped and I can still get other food down. It's just a bad feeling. Did I break something and should I hot back to liquids?

maybe I should stick to scrambled they seem to go down fine

bring the magic bullet and get a note from your dr to bring it just in case because they might think you want to use it as a weapon....they have weird rules nowadays because are crazy. Have Fun!!!!:rolleyes2:

ive been making and eating sloppy joe meat of course without bread. very tasty! 1lb chopped meat 1 can sloppy joe mix (strained out peppers) brown meat, drain fat, mix in sauce for about 5 min on low heat This lasted for many meals and verrrrrrry moist when reheated in microwave under plastic wrap. wow I'm a baby I was banded oct 21 and I'm just going back to work this upcoming Monday . My surgeon recomends 2-3 week I was gonna go back the 3 rd but I'm beyond tired I need 2 naps a day and I still go to bed by 10

Im guessing that if they already made your date they are pretty sure the insurance will say yes. Remember they deal with the same insurances daily and know exactly what makes them say yes. I was in the same situation as you. My date was 10/22 and i didnt find out til 5 days before. When the insurance said yes the office even moved up my surgery a day (which actualy worked better) and just a little advice i told my boyfriend not to take off the surgery day just to come after work and to take off the next day. That was a really smart move because i needed him the first day home and turned out i needed him the second too! Goodluck!!!!!

I got banded 10/21 and my tongue is still white and my teeth feel constantly dirty even though i brush like crazy! My breath never smelled but everything tastes funny....even water. Its getting better slowly thank god

Yesterday all i wanted in the world was seltzer! I was soooo thirsty and i felt like that is the only thing that would have helped....but i was good and drank more stinky water lol

How does everyone put those tickers and listing of surgery dates and goal weights in their profile everytime? I tried and i see nothing on mine help !

Its weird every year except this year when i have gotten a flu shot i felt crumby the next few days....

Thank you so much for explaining! Im just scared when i go to "normal" food that will happen when im at work or out cuz when i barf i usally cry haha sad but true it just makes me nervous for some reason
