Has anyone used Dr Salimitari in beverly hills or his other offices??

So it's been 20 days since I had my lap-band surgery and I hit my 30lb mark.....30lbs lost in 20 days I'm so happy with the results...I LOVE MY LAP-BAND!!!!!!!!!!!!:wink_smile::thumbup: Start weight 273 now 243....YA Can't wait to hit the 50 mark!!!! Brandie

I didnt realy lose on the pre-op diet I was going back and forth between 273 and 270 one day up one day down....so my loss has really all been after surgery......at my pre-op appt I was 273 Brandie

I am so excited 1 week before my surgery I was at 273 and then I had surgery on 10/3 now today I'm 154 thats such a good feeling!!!

4 full days now and I'm feeling so much better still my most painful thing is my left shoulder, i'm tender in my stomach area....but i'm going back to work in the morning does anyone eles have tightness in the chest throughout the day but mostly after tryting to get something down

so i had my surgery on friday at about noon I was released about 3:45pm I was in so much pain and saturday was painful too!! but this morning (sunday) I got up and wanted to go for a walk outside my hair is a tangled mess and I cant put a bra on but whatever I wanted fresh air!

how many days post -op did you do clear liquids before starting to work your way into full liquids? how long did you do liquids all together?

I just wokr up I have to be there in 4 hours to be banded and I woke up with a stuffy nose!!!!!!!!!! will they still do it I'm afraid of not bieng able to breath while i'm under anastesia........has anyone had a stuffy nose when they went?

I'm so nervous I have 38 hours to go till surgery wow there is so many things going through my head I cant stop thinking about it! tonight is my last real dinner for what seems like forever, but i know i need to be sensible and look towards my goal I lost 5 pounds this week doing 2 protien shakes and a sensible dinner....I just know this will change my whole life but I have a long hard road ahead of me.....cant wait to see 100lb go bye-bye forever.....you never know maybe more.

So I am 3 days away from being banded and I was just Curious???? How long before everyone went back to work and what type of work do you do???? :thumbup: Thanks

I have beens doing my best to watch my calories fat and carbs before my surgery I lost 4 pounds this week I have my surgery in 4 days YAAAA!!! but today I feel so hungry does anyone have any good tip on low cal. fat and carb snacks or foods???:cool2:

I live in long beach I am being banded oct 3 1 week yah!!!!!! so excited but scared any way I work down your direction kinda of hawthore and the 405 in torrance.

I'm getting nervous my date is coming soon....Oct. 3rd you all seem to be doing a real pre-op diet my doc just has me on small sensable portions and protien shakes till day before and then liquids that day???? I have not lost weight...I'm at 273 hoping to be alot less soon!!!! Brandie

Hello I'm new to this site. I had my first consoltation with the doc on sep 4th I did the nutritionist and psyc evaluation for insurance all that day. On sep 6th I did the scope to look around, sep 8th I did my labs. On sep 10th the doc called and said my insurance approved my band!!! now I'm waiting sep 18th is my pre-op and Oct 3rd is my surgery!!!!!! is anyone eles scheduled for october???

I went to my first doc appointment on sep 4th the doc is abount an hour away they scheduled me for a scope to look for hernia on sep 6th I did my psyc evaluation through the email she said I didnt set off any red flags so I never had to see her I did the nutritionalist over the phone and through email they let me go to a lab by my house for the lab work and now I have my pre-op on the 18th and surgery on October 3rd !!!!!!!!!!! it all happend within a month
