[font=lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif]Well I am four years into by band journey ( banded oct 2008). I started out at 230lbs, within my first year I lost 100lbs, I felt GREAT! about 1.5 years in and i started to develop SEVERE acid reflux, to the point of vomiting in my sleep. i lived with it for about 6 months and was diagnosed with a slippage. I went in for a removal ( november 2010), my doctor decided to give me a break and left me with no band for 2 months ( the 2 worst months ever to have no restriction november~january) iIgained 30lbs just looking at water. I had my band put back in in (january 2011). Since then I have had no luck, if I had restriction I also had reflux at night. So this has been for about a year and a half. Finally on July 25 I was diagnosed with another slippage AGAIN!!!! So my plan was tp have a revision to gastric sleeve, but my plans didnt work out. So as of today 7-26-12 i am scheduling my surgery for my third band of which my surgeon is very hopeful!!![/font]
