Restriction following surgery???

I was banded on 8-24-09 and I haven't had a fill yet... I have had great restriction from day one and I hope it stays that way. -
I was never told that gum was a bad thing... I have chewed gum ever since 1 month post op.

I had my surgery in August and I haven't gotten a fill yet either. I have had two different fill appointments but the doctor and I both agree that I didn't need one. I have been losing steadily and I feel satisfied from the right amount of food. Everyone is different!!

Stitches or Glued???

I had staples. They pulled them out in the office and it took about 2 min. for all of them. It didnt hurt at all, they used a special tool that bends the middle and pulls the sides of the staple at the same time. -
How did everything go???

I got banded about 2 months ago and I just tried alcohol this past weekend. I asked my doctor if I could try beer and he said go for it so I did. I drank about 3 beers and a jager redbull and I was feeling pretty good. Before the surgery it would take about 6 beers before I would feel anything. I guess its good now that it's cheaper at the bar.

I've had two appointments to have fills already and another one scheduled for Monday but I haven't had a fill yet and I'm not going to get one Monday. I have been losing fast and getting full from a cup of food so my surgeon doesn't see the need for it right now. Everyone is different I guess I am one of the rare people that doesn't need a fill right away. -
