Aloha wintobethin & Merry Christmas ! I'm responding to you for several reasons. I'm 58, I'm waiting for the surgeons call, I pray to God it's January, I have been waiting 2 long , long years, and 3rd, I have sleep apnea. Sounds like we have something in common ! I received pre surgery info that said , bring your sleep apnea machine with you for surgery. Now the whole program with Kaiser in Hawaii has been geared toward by-pass surgery, so we have been misinformed many times over the duration of the program, regarding guidelines for lap-band.
