Hey guys, I am 25 years old and live in Dallas/Fort Worth - I have had a hard time meeting Bandsters close to my age! I am single and would love to make new friends, guys or gals, to hang out with and relate to with our Lapband journeys. Hope to hear from you!

I live in Dallas/Fort Worth and am 25 years old - I was starting to think I am the only under 35 Lapband patient!! I am dying to meet new friends who I can share and talk to. I am single, and most of my friends are in relationships. Since no one completely understands my surgery and situation it would be great to meet some younger bandsters...most of the ladies in my support group are 40+ and/or married with kids. Anyway, would love to hear from anyone in their 20's who's been banded! Banded October 17, 2007 250/179/150 (Starting, present, goal weight) Thanks!

It has taken a lot of work! But worth it. At least this way I am working hard and seeing results. Exercise is huge - also, don't forget to take your measurements - when you hit a plateau (which you will) don't forget to check your measurements - majority of the time you are still losing inches. I have kept track of mine and it is neat to see how far I've come! Best of luck to you!

Hi Hillary! I am trying to meet more bandsters my age (I'm 25) and close to me! I live in Lewisville, TX and I was going to support groups, but I didn't have anything in common with most of the women there (over 40, married and/or with children and grandchildren) I would love to meet up with other bandsters my age for happy hour, movie night, just fun social activities where we have more in common than just our band!
