My Pre-op diet starts on Wednesday.. My husband and boys want me to pick my 2 last dinners for a while.. Trying to decide what I want to eat... It is crazy how they are thinking about my " last meals".. Here to about a week until surgery

Just came back from my Pre-Op appointment... starting my diet next Wednesday for sx on 29th... making my final list of things that I need....

Thank you for posting this... I have my gastric Bypass sx on Nov 29th.. I am super nervous but know that I am going to get my life back and be able to do everything I have always wanted to do...

Protein pudding is my go too... blended cottage cheese, with a scoop of protein powder and sugar free pudding or jello. mix a premade shake with sugar free jello or pudding There are so many recipes on Pintrest, instagram, facebook...

I have a skirt that is like that too.. I cant wait to wear it but I have a feeling it might be when it is cold so it might just be around the house..

I am working on my short term disability paperwork so that I can be out for the full 2 weeks with a little bit of pay.. Is anybody else doing this... Also anybody else buying there holiday PJ's a size smaller? I am in the middle of ordering our family Christmas pj's and gambling with ordering them a size smaller...

I start my all liquids on Thanksgiving and I am getting comments from the peanut gallery about it... I told them... This is not my last Thanksgiving, I will be able to join you all. Just now bring the focus on family, friends and memories not the food..

My packet has just been sent to my insurance company for approval. I am getting nervous.. I have so far bought new PJ pants, pulled out my long grandma sweater that is soft and comfortable, and I have my slippers. I am thinking about getting some sipping broth, propel drink powder to have at the house.. I don't want to pre-buy too much but I don't want my husband to have to worry about too much with having to get the 3 boys everywhere... back to thinking about what else I need...

I am going to sit down tonight with a calendar and reread my requirements for both pre and post op.. I am going to mark dates and start making a shopping list of the things I need... I have started getting rid of my summer clothes since I wont be needing them next year...
