Anyone else having a lot back pain 4 months post op?
hallen651 posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had my surgery Nov 27th and have lost 55 lbs I am very happy with the results so far but for the last 2 weeks I have had a lot of back pain and just a couple days ago having some pain on my left side just below my ribs and an incision it feels like a burning, pinching feeling, I have not had a temp or feeling sick so I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced these symptoms this far out? -

Well I went to the doctors yesterday and I don't have UTI so my doctor is sending out to have a culture done to see if I have any other infection, I don't have the symptoms anymore so I'm hoping everything comes back good.

Thanks everyone for caring! I am calling the doctor first thing this morning to see if they can get me in today! Do they have to do an exam or is it just a urine test? This is my 1st time having this problem.

I had my revision surgery from band to sleeve on Nov 27th 2013 and my doc has had me on a lot of medication since surgery. However today I have noticed when I go pee it hurts and I feel like I have to urinate all the time but when I go it's very little and it burns and hurts like crazy. I'm calling the doctor first thing in the morning to see if I can be seen. Do you think it might be a bladder infection from all the medication and maybe not getting in enough water?

2 Days Post Surgery And Need Tips On Bloating/ Gas Moving Out!
hallen651 replied to Neicey721's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 8 days post-op and the gas has been horrid, Is all I can say is walk, walk ,walk and it will start passing, I also got docusate sodium from the doctor to help with constipation and it works great. -
I am feeling great except the horrid gas pains I have in my neck and shoulder, I also haven't had a bm since the 26th so I called my doc and he gave me miralax and it's working. Wow you will be a little sore and tired tonight but us moms are hero's lol . My daughter was saying mom you need to rest and not be doing everything that your doing. I feel I'm healing quicker because I am up and walking and doing things. I am down 15 pounds so far and I can already see a difference in my face. I am still on liquids for another week and cant wait to move to the next stage. I go see my doctor on Thursday to have the drainage tube removed. Take care and keep me posted

tjdorsett, I am so happy to have the band out no more pain with the port and vomiting. I know what you mean the hour drive home from Erie was brutal. I have such an Awesome family and husband who are taking great care of me. Even my dogs are so protective and won't leave my side. The gas pains are the worst.... I just try to keep myself busy and walk, walk, and walk some more that's the only thing that makes me feel better. I am drinking sugar free carnation instant Breakfast for my Protein and can eat very little sf Jello and My favorite thing to eat right now is sugar free popsicle. I'm going to mix things up a little today and throw in some broth and decaf coffee or tea. Please keep me posted on how your doing! It's so nice to have someone to talk to that is going through the same situation as me. oh did you have to have a drainage tube? .
