Hi All, today is my 6th day after surgery, no more gas pain, still feel weak. Today I did good meeting all my goals. Protein 64, water 48-56. Leaking how to make the full liquids more filling and good. Thanks you all for sharing, it helps when we need to refer somewhere with how we are getting through this. By the Grace of God, I don’t feel Hungary all the time just eat what I need too. I hope it’s always like this.

Hi all, it’s been 3 days after surgery, I’m still having gas pain. It feels like air moving around in my stomach and it is painful only can do 2 0z of anything every 15 min. I’m not sure if this gas or I’m drinking too much. I drink 2 0z every 15 min all day to get my protein and water in. Any one have any thoughts to help me understand what is going on with this pain. thank you for your response that helps.

Hi anonymous, I had my surgery on the 23rd too, I’m struggling too with hunger and trapped gas, it’s painful when it moves around. How are you doing ?

My surgery 8/23, I only have to do liquid the day before, doesn’t’ seem right but doctor knows best. -
Thanks for sharing, helps to understand what to expect. Did you stay in hospital overnight? My surgery 8/23.

Hi all, my surgery date 8/23 and my surgeon just told me no need to do pre- op diet just liquids day before and day after. I’m concerned. -
