When do you eat your last meal?

Sorry, I meant at night what time should you eat your last meal. I have heard 5 hours before your bedtime and I have heard nothing after 7 p.m. Thanks! Tami

When do you eat your last meal?

Hi, Was wondering what time is the best time to eat your last meal? ...and what do you eat at your last meal? Any suggestions would help out greatly! Thanks!

    Cigna's Hoops

HI! I went through the same thing with Cigna. It took me almost a year from start to finish with them to get an approval. I got the run-around from them saying they didn't receive all of my paper work, they couldn't read the faxes, I had not completed all the nescessary steps for an approval....you name it they tried it. When I went for my first meeting about the Lapband I received a 3 ring-binder full of information from what I needed to do... to what to do if you are denied. They had an attorney in California that helped with obseity surgery denials, and suggested going with them. The attorney that helped me was Walter Lindstrom at Obestiy Law. It was funny, once they took my case Cigna heard the name Walter Lindstrom, and Obesity Law... it didn't take but a phone call and I was approved. :welldoneclap: So you might throw in their name and Cigna might give in a little eaiser. Good Luck to you! Don't give up, as that is why they are making you jump all the hoops, thinking that you will give in and give up! It is very well worth fighting for!

Need some much needed advice...New to the website.

Hey, thanks for the info!! I want to ask a question...Is it possible to lose inches instead of weight? I feel like I have lost weight but the scales do not reflect it. Also I heard stress etc. causes the band to be tighter?? I fought for almost a year for my insurance to cover my surgery and finally got approved after I had to use Obseity Law Advocates in California. I had lost my job at a factory so had Cobra Insurance. They played every trick in the book of not having to pay, but once they started getting paper work from Walter Lindstrom their attitude changed pretty quick...if it were not for them I know they would have never paid. I live in a very small town in Missouri and jobs are very slim pickings...I have shifted from going back to school, to a job I worked nights and now a job that I work days...maybe one of these days it will all get straightened out..ha ...out of this I have picked up some bad eating habits...I have been heavy off and all my life and I feel like having the band will give me a whole new outlook on life...and a chance for a better one! Sorry for the long post, but is good to hear how well others are doing and gives me the "pep" that I need. ha Thanks again!
  9. HI, I am new to this site as well. I had my lapband surgery May 14th and have only lost 23 pounds. I guess I was expecting to lose the weight faster..? I am slipping into my old habits and starting to "graze" again. Can anyone give me some ideas of what a typical day for you is....as far as what you eat, how much etc. I have a 10cc band and I think I have about 7 1/2 cc's now...I think that I am at the right fill as some things don't go down very well, and sometimes gets stuck, so you know what that means...:thumbs_down:to the ol' bathroom. In the mornings food tends to get stuck easier than later on in the day. As far as eating how much is the norm that you should be able to eat..without it being too much? I have read many different articles that say you should only be able to eat a very small amount. Depending on the food, I don't feel that I get as full as I should, but am afraid if I get another fill I will be too tight. As you can see I am in need of some good advice...Any and all are very appreciated!!
