    JUNE SURGERY BUDDIES

Hi June folks, Im hanging in there. I think we all have are good days and bad days but I try to focus on the good and why I decided to do this. I think once we all make it closer to that 1 year mark things will become alot easier. I have my stalls as well and it use to get to me but now I just stay consistent, make adjustments from time to time and continue to work out. During those stalls I still notice a change in my clothes, so eventho i didnt loose weight or gained a few pounds clothes are still getting closer, its weird. For those having stalls for long periods of time try tracker your food, I stay away from Protein power and anything that says Keto. That made a difference for me. Hang in there guys.

I didn’t realize that’s what it was but I get it from time to time. I also feel like I get heartburn but not with the full burn of that makes sense. So sometimes I have to take those antacid pills. hope everybody is doing good and hanging in there.

I think I’m starting to get my energy back as well and I had surgery June 14th. I’ve been working out at least 3-4 days a week but it was exhausting me lol he last 2 weeks. I might need to up my calories as well. Things are getting alittle easier I must say. Trying new foods and really trying to watch the carbs but it’s hard to avoid there in everything lol. Today I made egg roll in a bowl with ground chicken and man was it good and feeling. I recommend it, it’s easy, tasty and makes u feel like you’re eating egg rolls or my favorite lumpia. Keep it up everyone.

Good morning, has anyone switch to the once a day multi vitamins yet? I’m trying the fusion ones but they are so big and make me gag everyday. Any other options out there?

We can all do it and I’m sure during this process we’ve felt what everybody is feeling. It’s not for the weak for sure but I’m assuming this is what we all needed to jump start our better life. I’m hopi g at the 3 month mark things will become easier and by 6 months we will be pros. Some ideas to help, stay positive, don’t weigh yourself all the time, drink your fluids- I still struggle with that. My go to foods right now, keto friendly carb balance whole wheat tortillas I only eat half with mesquite turkey with a slice of cheddar cheese and I put it in the toaster oven. I have keto friendly street tacos and I had a shrimp taco last night with some refried beans on it. Those are my favs right now. Oh and the oikios greek yogurt. To everyone hang in there, it will be worth it. Also don’t compare or judge yourself to anyone here, we’re all different and things are going to be different for all of us.

That’s what I figured. We just worrying for no reason but it’s all new. We got this, just listen to our body and I like inches coming off lol. I wish I would have measured myself in the beginning. Thanks for the update, have a safe move.

@Carla Ogwin it’s weird everything was fine with the sugar free packets until this week so idk what happened. I’ve had ground beef but it was low fat and I just had alittle in a bean meat and cheese keto street taco. Today I had 2 spoon fulls of refried beans, 2 cut up grilled chicken nuggets from Chick-fil-A with alittle cheese and it was so good. I thought I was drinking too soon, or eating too fast as well but I think it’s just the sugar free drinks. I might try them again in a few weeks. There was about 5 days were my weight didn’t change and I was so sad but then it went down but it’s definitely going down closer now than it did which idk if I like that.
