    Needle Phobia

Like many other's have said the best advice is not to look. Before I got my surgery, they had to take blood, and the nurse couldn't find my vein. I started getting nauscious, because she poked me to many times! She suggested I take a break, and drink water. After that I felt better, and when she tried again she got the vein and I didn't look! When you go next time, if you can lie down, and not look is the best advice! GOOD LUCK! wer'e all in this together! xoxo, Collegegirl22

    Am I The Only One?

Hi Neptune693, Thank-You for your reply! I agree with you talking to the surgeon is very important. And being on top of the tightenings and appts. is definitely a way towards success. I just have a hard time with self controll towards foods sometimes but I am really going to try to do this. If there's a will there's a way! How much weight did you loose since you were banded? school is a great idea! I find keeping busy is the best bec. that way your out of the house and not thinking abt. food all the time! I wish you luck and yes Let's both support each other, seriously I want to start tomorrow with eating healthy and no junk and we will do this together. Be in touch! do you have instant message?

cookies are the enemy..help me jesus

Hey there, I have the same problem! cookies and cake, and chinese food! so today in the mall I got cookies, but I told myself after I ate them you know their not even "that" good! It's extremely hard I know the struggle. We need to help each other get through this! I personally think if you say "I'm never eating cookies again" it isn't realistic and you'll want it more. What we should do instead is try our best to always eat healthy, healthy meals and snacks and if let's say once a month we get cookies its ok. I think we should make it a once a month treat. xoxo, Collegegirl22

    Am I The Only One?

Themis, Thanks for your reply. It's so hard I am coming from a place where food was my friend for so many years! If I was sad my "friend" was always there to comfort me. I always knew I could turn to my "friend" Unfortunatly now I need to find a new "friend" one that isn't food! It's a hard adjustment. By me I am allowed pureed food now, it didn't help me from cheating though. It wasn't awful cheating but bad enough that I feel awful. Thanks for all your support! We are here to help each other! andteh band buddy sounds like a great idea! Thanks! xoxo, Collegegirl22
