I had surgery on Thursday, 7/20. I was there for pre-op at noon, went into surgery around 3pm, and was home by 9pm. I felt awful for the first four days, but things are starting to turn the corner. I’m getting down fluids and protein easier and even had butternut squash soup today. So good! I’m actually looking forward to purées. -

How is everyone feeling? I'm 3 days away from surgery date. I'm scrambling to finish house work and weeding my kitchen garden before the surgery. I'm curious. My surgeon (in Southern California) sends his patients home same day. I appreciate the lower cost, but I'm a little worried. Anyone else go home same day? -
