My insurance did not cover any of the procedure. All bariatric surgery is excluded.

Any reason why you are doing Portsmouth and not Augusta? Just wondering.

I started in November and had the ban put on Feb. 3. I highly recommend Dr. Peculli, she is wonderful. I also called Catholic Medical in Manchester, and it did seem longer there. It was also more $$$. I was self pay so that mattered a lot to me. I looked into Boston as well, but it was at least 3 month there and a much longer commute for me. Good luck

I live in Southern Maine and had my band in Portsmouth NH. Dr. Petculli is great.

This is my first post as this is the number one problem I am having as well. Left shoulder pain, radiating up to the neck. At times I have NO pain or discomfort at all, and then other times it is horrid. I don't have a gallbladder, and only had a small hernia. My doctor is thinking irritation to the diagram from the band, and has recommended a CT scan to see. I will watch to see if it is related to eating/drinking--that had been what I thought at the begining, but I am now 3 months post op
