Ok I wasn't sure if I could eat some of those things. My problem is that I can't eat mushy things I've always had a problem with that consistancy. Thanks this has really helped me.

If you don't mine me asking what kinds of foods did you eat durning the mushie stages. I can't really stomach puree foods so my choices are limited.

Thanks I'm feeling good my port site is red and itchy but I feel pretty good. I'm just trying to figure out what to eat on this mushy stage. But other than that I'm doing good. How are you doing?

Hi! I'm doing pretty good healing well my stomach is itching really bad but I'm doing good. I can't wait till monday to start mushies I am starting to feel hungry. But other wise doing good healing was a lot better than I though it would be.

I was just banded 12/22 and I didn't have to go on a liquid diet either actually no diet before the surgery. I think it may just be up to the doctor that's just my opinion.

Hi and congrats I was banded on 12/22. I'm doing pretty good now what I used to help me go to the bathroom was benefiber I just put some in my broth and it helps. I noticed the pain meds made me nauseous so I stopped taking them. I have some pain and discomfort next to my port sight when I try to get up from sitting down. I also sleep on my side with a pillow under my stomach and it helps or I put the heating pad under my back if I sleep on my back. I hope this helps and congrats again. -
Hey thanks for checking on me I'm ding pretty good. I stayed overnight in the hospital the incisions didn't hurt me it was my back. I feel a lot better today. I slipped and fell on the way in the house but besides that I feel ok.

Hello Jen! Hi I'm also from RI i will be ebanded in two days. I also battled obesity most of my life and decided this was the best way to go. I wish you the best of luck on your journey to being banded.:tongue_smilie:

Hi everyone i just found this post. i'm from RI (Providence) and I will be banded 12/22/08. My surgeon is Dr Ryder she is a wonderful doctor she has made me feel very comfortable through this whole process. Also Dr. Ryder is in the same office as Dr. Roye and she does fills.
