I added a few drops of sesame oil to cauliflower and broccoli purée and that helped my craving for something savory during the puréed food stage.

I Am Not Really Seeing The Weight Loss I Was Expecting
HealthyT replied to Hey Man's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
This is what is happening to me. I discussed it in my support group, they said it is normal. They called it a 3 week stall. Said it is very common. 14 lost pre surgery and 8 post surgery. They all said to keep doing what I’m doing and focus on getting in all the required vitamins, protein, and water, and WALK. -

Summer seeker, what type of surgery did you have? -
My surgery was June 2nd. I have pain under my ribs on my left side. I am super fatigued, but I figured out a game to play to keep me walking. My son drives me over to the super Walmart and we walk every isle. We look for foods that I can have on a liquid diet. There is hardly anything to eat at WW. We are going to Costco tomorrow!

How to Start Meal Prepping After Bariatric Surgery
HealthyT replied to Kristin Willard, RDN's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Magazine
I purchased a food saver device. The food can be frozen and then heated in boiling water or microwave while still in the bag. The type of container you eat it out of can be saved from absorbing food odors. It saves me money and lot of food from waste. I use my insta pot a lot. -
I hope your surgery went well. Mine is coming up on 6/2
