No pre-surgery liquid diet for me because I wasn't supposed to get banded in the first place. I was scheduled for a gastric bypass but my surgeon discovered that I had too much scar tissue from a previous accident to do it, so we went with Plan B. I was 365lbs in my pre-surgery weigh in. After 11 days on liquid only diet, I was 340lbs at the first follow up appointment and 334 today, after 4 days of tiny meals consisting of eggs, refried Beans, and Jello. 31 lbs in 15 days
