Hey Meshelle,
I had a work injury that set me back a few months with my lapband proceedings, but I just got my second fill today at 4 pm, I am so excited, I can now return to the GYM and get back on track...but I have lost a total of 54 # without even trying...I did not get fills when I should have and it does matter....I am told every 3-4 month and now that I havent had a fill in 6 mo I now know that without the fills you can gain back some of your loss, I gained back 20 pds...so I actually at this point have only lost 34 now honestly. How about you? Let me know....I have no problems with this weight loss method yet and I am back on track...Hope you are doing good too. I can't wait to get it all off!

Hello thanks for writing back
I live in Northern california. I have jumped through all the hoops just waiting for insurance to say yes. I have blue shield they said it is the easiest and fastest to reply. My doctor is here in town. He has a center of execellace which I understand is important.
Did you see my stats are we close. I am crossing my fingers for the next two weeks sugery . I am married since 92 have two childrens a daughter who is going to be 14 in sept and a son who is 11. They are all backing me. My hubby is a bit nerious about as he says going under the knife... But I need help dieting alone just doesnt work for me. My family was complety against the bypass. We had a neighbor do this she looks great weight wise but not healty not to sure eating habits have changed much.
Look forward to getting to know you and hopefully having a buddy

I am a 45 year old female who lives in Medford Oregon. My procedure took place in Mexico with Dr. Lopez, who was just a wonderful doctor and staff. The Hospitial of Angels was just amazing, the latest in medical equiptment and it is like a luxury hotel, you would never know it was a hospitial. I went on a two week clear liquid diet before surgery and two weeks after, I began soft healthy foods 1 month after and last thurs I had my first fill. I was a bit nervious at first but soon regained consciousness...kidding! It was ok, I don't like needles but I did it and was glad I did...I will only have to have 3-4 fills during the first year I am told by my N.D. Doctor. I have been reading and learning a lot since I now too have been banded, I want to be very successful and do this right. I also joined a Gym and work out 3 times a week for 2 hrs, well the 1 hr. is swimming, jacuzzi and sauna, but it makes it all worth wild. Thank you for writing. Where are you from and please share your story as well.
