Hey you're better off posting your question in a different forum where it will reach a bigger audience. GL! I can't help you unfortunately, the process is different here in Australia, you don't have to jump through hoops herewith insurance like in the US.

Aw thank you! Good luck to you and everyone else this week having surgery. I'm definitely feeling the nerves now. Hoping those who've had it continue to recover well and that the rough parts ease soon. Those on the pre op diet, you got this! It socks but it's worth it.

LittleRouxenyhood and Lindsay, I'm sorry recovery continues to be rough on you both. Big hugs. I wonder if bypass recovery is tougher as the sleevers checking in seem to be having easier recoveries. Then again everyone recovers differently. Two days left for me, definitely starting to feel the nerves.

Big hugs. Just remember, this isn't a sprint, it's a marathon. Ignore the scales for a bit. Do you log your food? Really evaluate what you're eating. Not enough protein? Too many carbs? Logging helps with that. Like others said do not starve yourself. You need good nutrition more than ever now.

I'm on day 23 of 28. While I'm totally over it, it's pretty easy. It definitely gets easier after a few days when you enter ketosis. Your diet plan sounds great! Try hard not to cheat on it as that will take you out of ketosis possibly. Each day is one step closer to a healthier happier you. You got this my May buddy!

KE and Lindsay, I'm sorry recovery is rough. I really hope all the pain and discomfort eases asap. Can I ask what pain meds they're giving you? Do they give anything for the gas like degas? I'm wondering if I should bring some in myself next week. Keep your spirits up, this is just a small part of a life changing journey. Hugs.

Late reply but my clinic recommends ones designed for us, company is called Fit for Me. About 90 for 3 months. They resend automatically every 3 months. That's who I use.
