  3. hey sue, I too am thinking that I have a slow leak and am insisting that my dr. try to remove what is in my band if anything on the 24th. I'm so damn mad, and frustrated because my surgery was done in Feb 08 and I think I've lost 10 lbs, how dissappointing!!!! Keep me up to date on what happens at your appt, ok? Cathy:sad:
  4. yes, I am self pay and went through Lap Bands for Less, based out of Louisianna but had the surgery done in Dallas, TX. MY surgery cost $11,000.00 and the band is the idamed or something like that. It's a 10cc band and I have 5cc in thus far and am not feeling restriction. Last fill was under floro and the dr said everything looked fine but I have to wonder, I too am thinking a slow leak. I am insisting on dr removing what cc's are in band on 11-26-08 just to find out what's really in there, I'll keep u posted. Keep smilin, things will go our way soon!

    I Am So Frustrated

I am so happy for you, wish I could say the same for me. Had mine done 02/08/2008 and have only lost 14.5 lbs. in all these months, am hoping another fill will help me along...keep up the good work!

    frustrated

hey all, it's been quite awhile since I've touched base. Went to Holland, MI and had a flouroscopic done, he filled me with 1cc and am now at 5cc with 5 remaining. Problem is, I felt very good restriction for a month, and now am feeling no restriction whatsoever, bummer:frown: Has anyone ever experienced a leak in the band itself or am I just being silly and jumping to unnecessary conclusions. I don't like the fact that I have no restriction because it makes it that much easier to sway from my goal. Any advice would be surely appreciated. Hoping all of you are having great success!

    Need advice

:w00t:Hello everyone, I went through a program caalled "Lap Bands for Less" and had my surgery done in Dallas, TX. I live in Michigan and am experiencing no restrictions when I eat and have not lost any weight since the surgery on Feb.8,2008. My physician here in MI recently did an upper GI and claims that the band itself is not properly placed and needs to be redone. I paid cash for my surgery in Dallas because they were $6000.00 cheaper than in MI. Dr. Allan Cribbins performed my surgery and has looked over my results of my gi and claims that everything is fine, so why am I not losing weight, and at least not having any food restrictions? Michael Stamper is the person who set me up for my surgery and needless to say I am having a very difficult time trying to communicate with him about my concerns. I am at aloss as to what my next steps should be and frustrated totally. I certainly feel I should not have to pay another $11,000.00 for it to be fixed. Everyday I become more and more depressed. Has anyone gone through this same problem, and if so, can you give some much needed advice as to what I do now? Frustrated in MI
