Peach state health plan/medicaid and duodenal switch

Has anyone had the duodenal switch surgery and used Peach state medicaid?? i have a consult Sept 5th and really want the switch instead of the bypass. -
Has anyone on here fought with insurance company for coverage of gastric bypass and won?? OR has anyone been successful in getting great financing for this type of surgery? As per most, this is medically necessary for me to have and I spend lots of time researching on how I can get this paid for or covered. I am not giving up!
