  1. im starting to get worried now and my surg is friday, i followed it straight up to friday(started preop diet on weds) but had 2 strawberries, then saturday i only had two protein shakes out of 4 snuck in a cup of brocoli and yesturday i had 2 shakes out of 4 again and half a piece of sausage and today one shake only 630 cals and 49 cals, i feel really bad and sad ): but! im making sure i get up early again tomorrow and get back on track for the remaining 3 days left til surg. hope ill be fine. i hope:smile2:

    thanks, i cant have protein until the full liquids, on my paper my nutritionist gave me said i could have diet snapple on the clear liquid week and what's loser than a sports bra?

  5. i heard from another thread that the Tanita HD351 is a good and accurate scale. i have two scales and they say different things one upstairs says 224.5 and the one down stairs says 219.0. i want to weigh and measure myself every fridays but i cant weigh myself unless i know i have a good and accurate scale. i know i said i wasnt going to weigh myself til i go for follow up's or fills but id like to know every fri or every other
  6. thanks, my mom want to buy a new scale but i think the up stairs scale is off by one i wont know til friday when i go get my surgery if they weigh me

    Who knows about your surgery?

    my surgery is friday as well feel the same way and i didnt tell anybody. the only ones that do know im going to be getting it done are my parents and thats it and if anybody does ask me how i lost weight i'm just going to tell them that i lowered my calorie intake to 1200 and exercised A LOT. to me, i dont think my friends need to know.

    my dad is the same way haha but he dont buy protein shakes lol ohh haha me too, i never really liked them when i was little but orange was my favourite, that gives me a good idea, i want some now they're prolly better than what i take, i got chewable multivitamins and its orange flavour, it makes me gag lol, but its alright if you drink water while chewing them, and i can buy my protein powder shake mix from my nutitionist and you get vitamins with it too, blahh (:
  11. i know right? the Clear liquids might be a lil tougher than the full liquids, but i found some recipies on here for all stages and they all sound good. wish i had a diff preop diet, the Protein shakes make me sickish blahh good luch everyone :skep:

  16. my surgery is the 31st too, but i dont know whats the best to have, i found these super whey protein shots at walmart and it has 26 grams of protein in it and 110 cals, fruit punch flavour, they're ok but you might like them but im not sure if itll keep you full since i didnt really try it(only a sip) try adding ice to your protein powdered shakes like make them milk shake thick, that kept me full for a while and i had one protein shake today and im not even hungry right now. im so nervous too but more excited than anything ^^
  17. omg there's people having it on the same day as me!! sweet!! haha anyways its so weird because i feel great today! and i feel like im cheating because yesturday i had two strawberries, today i had a cup of brocolli(30 cals 2g pro), and tomorrow im having half of a turkey sausage(70 cal 7.5g pro) but im getting all the cals i need and all the Protein i need, is this bad? i feel kinda bad...): total cals i had today are 980 and total protein i had were 80 tomorrow's total cals are 925 and protein is 85.5 grams of protein i was told i needed to be under 1000 cals and 80 or more grams of protein and that i needed to follow a low sugar protein rich liquid diet for the 9 days before surgers is this ok? i feel so bad but i dont know, its just one different thing but im going back on track on monday i should still be ok right? i also think that what made me feel sick was putting too much ice in the Protein shakes ended up making them too thick
