I'm going to be a senior in high school this year. I will be 5 weeks and 4 days post op when school starts, I was realllllly excited to go back, now I'm nervous to go back. I'm going to be telling my schools nurse about it(very good idea) if she's there tomorrow and I need to find out who my gym teacher will be (cause they forgot to give me a gym period) so I can tell him/her about it and hopefully they don't tell the other teachers, should I tell the principle too? Anyways my biggest fear about going back is getting sick, like nausea sick anywhere during the school say even on the bus. And I worry about not getting enough sleep, I don't get enough now it's like I can't get to bed at normal hour. But yeah my biggest is getting sick and missing a lot of school. Ugh it deffinately not how I planned my last year. I worry the worst when I'm not feeling well and that Is like now. I have a headache and I'm tired and I have a nasty taste in my mouth from reflux I supposed and I hope to get whatever fill I have in, out, some people said they had reflux and their band was too tight and needed a unfill and I have that band that has a fill in it during surgery and they felt better after. Dang I forgot my though ugh! Hate when that happens

well atleast I know what it is. I just wanna get whatever it is fixed and feel better again. I love cosmetology! That stinks though, atleast you're going back (:

I have the dizzy feeling, the numbness, tingling feeling and I kind of feel weak and I kind of feel nauseated, I don't know my temp, this is probably what I need to get done

I was banded a few days before. I think that's just it, that it's too tight, get tight all of a sudden though? I called today, the surgerons and most of the other dr's in the bariatric office are on vacation too I mean come on there has to be someone. One time when I was 7 days post op I went and saw him cause of nausea and had me proove to him that I could get water down, so since I could, he didn't want to take the fluid out and then I didn't have this weird feeling in my throat/top of my chest then. My only prob then was nausea. So now that I have the throat feeling he's probably/most likely going to have to take the fluid out and I hope he does, I'll probably be a much happier camper again. Sucky part is I have to wait to see him

so I just go back to liquids? How long should I? I just hope that it also helps get rid of that feeling in my throat/top of my chest aswell

I'm not on solids yet just mushies and I haven't had anything mushy since yesturday and I'm going to do that

I can't even stand up for long without getting that nausea feeling or else I'd be outside and hanging with my friends, I'm using my iPod and I'm laying down I wanna take a nap but can't go to sleep

is there even anything stuck in there? I mean i can get water down but it really does feel like something is stuck. I thought if I vomitted it would come out but nothing came out. What is the papaya enzyme? And is it sold?

I know I know, I can't help it, I just wanna talk to somebody, I'm trying to relax, but don't seem to know how, I guess having my cat near my eases my mind a bit... This is my last thread for awhile. I already had my time of month two weeks ago and I just got my depo shot on the 17th I was feeling great then. Yeah I might be stressed too but I also don't know how to relieve stress either My dr is on vacation, they were trying to get me in with the other surgeron but I guess they couldn't and there's only two lapband surgerons at the hospital. I know right?

I will deffinatley tell you guys what he says and I'll also tell you guys if he does anything

I felt good for two weeks! But now I'm feeling like crap again. You know how it feels when you're sick and you have a bunch of crap in your throat? Well that's what my throat feels like and it won't go away I've had this Friday night, haven't had much of an appetite but got some food in not much tho, whatever I have in my throat is making me sick, I don't actually feel nauseated and my stomach feels like I've been punched in my stomach and I've been getting dizzy and been in bed cause I feel like I cant go anywhere without feeling sick and haveing to put my hand near my mouth so I won't get sick I called today and the earliest is next week, hopefully I can hold off that long...ugh why does this have to happen to me??

but I haven't vomit anything up it could be from dry heaving cause I feel like I was punched there but it could also be my esphofocus(lol my spelling sucks) I can't find anything about it anywhere

yeah he's on vacation now so I have to wait till next week to see him I thought I was going to feel great at 3 weeks then all of a sudden I get sick and whatever I have I have had it since Friday night and I haven't been able to really sleep either. I have a feeling whatever I have is going to be with me until my surgeron figures out what to do I might after all have to get that fill out (I have the band that has the fill since the time of surgery) maybe the weird feeling in my throat will go away, I can't eat much, not even soup cause I feel like I'm going to get sick, I can eat a little tho. Wish I was doing fine and feeling great but I'm not ay ay I can't stand up for long without putting my hand near my lips so I won't get sick, wish I could have gotten in sooner, this sucks I wanna feel happy like I was for two weeks :/ and like I was even before surgery...

Sorry for posting so many threads but would mac n cheese be alright for a mushy/puréed food? Cause that kind of cheese sounds good right now it's the microwavable kind by kraft could just purée it?

I chose not to have a lunch pd so I could have the classes I wanted, but we are alowed to have lunch in our class rooms and when I have study hall I'll have my lunch and the days I don't I'll have lunch the pd after

I'm trying to but it's hard when you feel you gotta throw up the liquids (besides water) My symptoms are, weird feeling in throat, nasty taste, stomach feels like it was punched, been getting dizzy, and been getting headaches, and don't really have a appetite, I just wish I knew exactly what it was and why I'm not feeling up to anything. The nurse said if anything drastically changes or I stop eating to go give them a call or go to the ER (can't remember which one she said) why do I have to be the one to have a complication? Boo );

I don't have a lunch period so I'm gonna have to talk to my 6th period teacher if I can have my lunch then or just bring something simple to bring on my way to cosmetology I'll deffinately make sure I chew very well, having a PB in school would suck and be embarrassing I will it's just right now, I feel like total crap nobody isnt answering my other thread about what a narrowing is cause I might have one and it might need to be stretched ugh

I told my councelor, well my mom did, and I was going to tell the nurse but they were gone for lunch I guess and I didn't want to wait an hour for her to get back and yup I'm getting a note from my surgeron on September 2nd. By the way, does anyone know what a narrowing is?

I wish somebody knew what it is =
