    September Sleevers!

Excellent choice, you will see that many of us had our surgery done by him. He and his staff are absolutely amazing!
  3. I am so busy at work right now, I haven't had time to go to my doctor. I might hit a doc-in-the-box this weekend just to have it checked out.
  4. Hi Don, and welcome. As you can see, we have a great community here, I actually prefer to call us a family. We will be here for you whenever you need support. If you have a question, just ask, and someone here will be able to help you out.

    What's on your mind?

Not to change the subject, but I just wanted to say, happy Friday everyone!!!!
  8. I have found there isn't anything I can't eat with my sleeve. With the band, nothing would go down. I prefer being able to eat and exercising a bit of control than not being able to eat at all. Although, we all have those moments when we do lose control. But, I think that is okay too, because it will never be like it used to because we can only eat so much with our sleeves.

    Big Scare

Linda, I am glad it turned out to be nothing major. I always say better safe than sorry, if you don't know, get it checked out.
  10. I am sure you are glad to be back in the comfort of your own home. I never experienced the shoulder pain from gas either, thank goodness! My husband was shocked when they pulled the drain stuff out too. He couldn't believe it didn't hurt. It didn't though, it just felt really freaky coming out. As for the chicken broth, the first time I ate it I enjoyed it, but I think I was desperate for anything at that point. By the time I left the hospital, I couldn't stand the smell or taste of it either. Take care, concentrate on getting your fluids in and get plenty of rest. You will be feeling better in no time.

What do you take for lunch?

I wish I hated it. Surprisingly, I don't eat it on any veggies, except corn on the cob.

    Tiredness

Bob, I found I had very little energy and was constantly tired until I was able to move to mushies. As long as you are getting your protein and water in, I think you will notice a significant change once you move to mushies.

I hate it when people post just to post.....

Hey guys, I am so sorry we are potentially losing some long time great members here. When you are in a thread and having problems, please pm the link and I will see if I can step in and help out with the problem posters.

What do you take for lunch?

I am a major salt addict, but I know it is bad for me. I have really had to work on cutting back on my salt intake, but I am definitely improving.

    my turn tommorow!

She is doing well, she started another thread and posted how she is doing. I would post the link, but am feeling a bit lazy today, lol. Plus, I really should be working, not surfing. My bad.
  24. Prilosec works wonderful for me as well. After I ran out of the Nexium Mups from Mexico, it was the only thing that saved me.
  25. Hey, that is pretty nifty looking. I think I am going to get one too.
