  1. I have always been told if you suffered erosion once, you are at a higher risk for future band complications. In my opinon, the band is just too much work and there are too many problems involved. For those who have success with it, I couldn't be happier for them. But for people like us, the sleeve is an amazing option well worth considering. I have not once regretted my revision.
  2. Bikini's are out of the question for me. I keloid really, really bad. Thanks mom, for passing that on to me! My tummy looks like a war zone.

    Pre-op diet

Unfortunately, all of the sweeteners seem to have an adverse effect on me. If I use them, I am running to the bathroom all day long!

    Post Op Weight Loss

Gah, I need to get a new one. I am just so busy right now, I haven't had the chance. I probably won't until after our big fundraiser on the 29th.

I hate it when people post just to post.....

Hey everyone, whats up? Kat, I have plenty of clothes to wear tomorrow, but I seriously do not want to go either. I had a nice, relaxing weekend and would like to have a few more days of it. I have been busy trying to help with getting the other site going, and although I check in every day here, I have been bad about checking in on my favorite thread. I am up to date on Lulu, but what happened to Taps?

The Worst Lap Band Patient in the World

Don't be embarrassed about going to the doctor, they are there to help you. They cannot do that if you avoid them and are not completely honest with them about everything. When he gives you a fill, does he first remove all the fill you had to verify that the correct amount is in there and you do not have a leak? If not, he should. Also, are you keeping track of your daily intake? When you are struggling, it really does help. A couple of great sites are FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal and Calorie Counter, Diet Tracking, food Journal, Nutrition Facts at The Daily Plate.

  17. Good luck today!

  18. Happy birthday!

  19. I found the adult liquid tylenol actually works better for headaches than regular tylenol or aspirin. Have you tried it?
  20. I was able to resume taking any size pill at about a month out.

    Chat room

I love Destin! We rented a house there a few years ago for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. It was the first time in ten years we had my brothers, their families and all of us together at the same time. It was wonderful. And, my one brother even got married while we were there. It was both their second marriages and they just wanted something small and intimate. It was beautiful, on the beach at sunset.
  24. Even now, I have to keep a bottle of water next to my bed at night. I am doing great at getting all my fluids in now, but still wake up during the night with an incredibly dry mouth so it helps having that bottle right next to me.
