    Weight Watchers Online: Support Thread

Hi guys, hope you don't mind me popping into your thread. I am not sure how many of you have iPhones, but I noticed yesterday that weight watchers now has an iPhone app and it is free to WW Online members. It looks pretty basic right now, but they are promising to add lots of new features over the next couple of months.

    Week 1 follow up results

Steph, I tried reading while on the treadmill, as I have heard of a lot of people doing that, but it literally made me sick to my stomach. So, instead, I plan on doing it when I know my favorite shows are on tv, as they keep me entertained.

    Hello :)

    Yep, mine works beautifully!
  4. When I first got my sleeve, I was on the nexium. When I ran out, I tried going without anything and had major reflux. I was probably off the nexium for at least a week before I started on the prilosec. It took about three or four days of being on it before the reflux completely subsided. Hopefully, yours will show improvement over the next few days as well. I also have to make sure not to eat to close to bed time, or I have problems.
  5. Judy, that would be awesome. I have one tattoo, but have been wanting to get another one that will somehow signify my weight loss journey. I have searched and searched on the internet for ideas, but have yet to come up with anything. I am open to suggestions. I couldn't agree more. I definitely noticed the difference in maturity in my second husband. My first husband was always about him. With Lee, it has always been about the family, which is wonderful.
  6. Yep, that is the same reason I couldn't sleep on my side. I also like to sleep on my tummy, but it was a bit longer before I could do that.

Super personal BUT I have to know. . .

So, I guess now the only question left to ask, is how did things go?
  8. Hi Amanda, we are so happy to have you join us here! Definitely check out our forums for people in their twenties, we do have a few. I also had my surgery in Mexicali with Dr. Aceves. I was a revision from the band to the sleeve, so mine cost a bit more. I think it is wonderful that you are doing this at such a young age. That is honestly my only regret about my surgery, is that it wasn't around when I was 20! You have your whole life ahead of you and it is great that you are going to do this for yourself now.

    Food issues, now in reverse.

Lan2k, I can testify for the ricotta bake, it really is yummy!

    Aenta aprroved me today!!!!!

Lauren, congratulations, that is wonderful news! I am surprised at how quick the approval came through, that is fast.
  11. Wow, I have never heard of a bezoar before, that is interesting. The coca-cola might work. I know when I had my band, if I got really stuck, coke would always bring whatever it was up for me.
  12. Hi and welcome to LBT. I wish I had known about weight loss surgery when I was your age. It is wonderful that you are having it done now, and with a friend too! I don't really know the answer to your breastfeeding question, but perhaps someone in our pregnancy forums would be able to help you out with that. Oh, and happy birthday, I can't imagine a better present to oneself!

    Amazing news ! ! !

Well guys, by now they are happily reunited. I can't wait to hear how he reacted when he saw her. I am just so happy for her that they are finally together again.

    Cure for Head Hunger

I did what Cajun suggested, and prepared my soup or whatever I was eating for dinner and ate at the same time as the rest of the family. I made it more about the social time with my hubby and kids, and less about the food.
  15. It's your day! Good luck, I am sure you will do great! Let us know how everything went once you feel up to it.

  16. Happy birthday! I hope things are getting better for you.

  17. Happy birthday!

  18. I think it was about a week before I was sleeping on my side, too. But, I do remember I put a pillow under my tummy just to give it a little extra support.

    Nervous newbie

Hello and welcome to our forums! I love that you are from Sweden. I actually just reconnected with an old friend on facebook that was an exchange student at my high school for two years and was from Sweden. I think most of us here are experts on losing weight and have tried just about every diet known to mankind. Like you said, we just weren't very good at keeping it off. You will love, love, love the sleeve!
  20. Hmmm, my husband is seven years older than me, what does that make us?

    Cyberbullying

CC, that is horrible. Bad enough to have people judge us because of our weight, but then to cyberbully us about it is even worse. But, I agree with Diva, I do like Miss Piggy. Porky Pig was always kind of cute, but he doesn't have near the class as Miss Piggy.

    Amazing news ! ! !

Girl, I am just so happy for you! After all the delays, he is finally almost home. I hope you all have a wonderful reunion. I wish we could all see the look on his face when he see you. Have a blast!

    Cyberbullying

CC, I wasn't aware you were a victim of this. You are right, it is very un-nerving and we have to be careful what we put out there about ourselves and who we share it with. Apples, I think you have played it very smart by being apprehensive about what you put out there. I have been working on educating my children about this and stressing to them how vital it is that they are careful.

    Cyberbullying

In this day and age, most of us share a great deal of information about ourselves in "cyberspace." Whether it be here on LBT, other forums, blogs, MySpace, Facebook, etc., we put a lot of information about ourselves out there for others to see. By doing so, we may also be putting ourselves in a vulnerable position for cyberbullying. A friend of mine shared an interesting article with me today. I wanted to take this opportunity to pass it on to all of you as a reminder that we need to be careful of how we portray ourselves, what information we share with people and who we choose to share it with, as we never know when it may backfire against us. "Cyberbullying: Adult Cyber Bullying? Cyber-Bullying is a problem that affects adults as well as children. Read this story from a former cyberbully who, after mending her ways, found herself the target of cyberbullying." Click here to read the full online article: Adult Cyberbullying

    Week 1 follow up results

I am glad to hear you are doing so well. Listen to an iPod or watch a good tv show or something while doing the treadmill, it makes the time go by a lot faster. I found if I just do the treadmill and have nothing to keep me entertained, I get a bit bored.
