And. actually, if it is Michelle, I'm okay with that. Omar will have met his worst enemy. He is very good at making sure no one is able to contact the doctor unless he approves. Which is sad, the doctor should be the one in control. At any rate, if Michelle says she is going to report this, etc., she will do just that. And, she lives down there, she works for Bariatric surgeons and she has gone up against other doctors. Her and I may not see eye to eye, but she is a formidable opponent. And by Omar working so hard to protect himself, he is going to end up taking Dr. Illan down with him. Sorry, Omar, your days of taking advantage of your position and taking advantage of vulnerable woman is over. Better find a new source of romance and income.

Dr. Illan is apparently too busy from just coming back from vacation to talk about the Omar situation right now, but states he is very interested. I'm sorry, what is more important than the safety of your patients? I don't care how busy you are, this should be your top priority.

And, just a piece of advice, when arguing and disagreement takes place between intelligent adults, usually the person whose only argument is to continue to repeat "grow up, get a life" etc., is the one with the least ability to argue intelligently and the one whom is lacking in maturity.

She's not, she just keeps posting the same thing over and over and over again, kind of like a broken record. Her questions have been responded to in detail. She just wants to continue in her Omar Worship and cult-like behaviors to attempt to make Omar, a criminal, a man with no morals, a man with no professional ethics look good and me, a person who has stood up for others rights look bad.

Yes, you are right, it is much better to back down, allow Omar to continue to take advantage of his patients, make inappropriate sexual advances to those who clearly don't want it, and to satisfy his personal sexual needs with insecure, woman he meets through his job instead of being a real man and finding woman outside of his job. Here is the read deal, IF Dr. Illan truly cares about his patients, and IF Dr. Illan truly cares about his reputation, once he sees and hears all the facts, which I can assure you he will, then he will fire Omar so fast, Omar will not know what hit him. And IF Dr. Illan does that, he will have my utmost respect and support. However, IF Dr. Illan is presented with all this information and continues to keep Omar in his employ, then he is as guilty as Omar and whatever happens to him and his reputation is his own fault, NOT the fault of this thread, NOT the fault of the victims. HIS OWN FAULT. It is his responsibility to ensure the safety and wellbeing of his patients. I will continue to speak out about this and will continue to defend these woman until Omar is no longer coordinating for anyone, or working in the medical field for anyone.

Unfortunately there are still US doctors out there who will refuse to do follow up care on patients who have their surgery done in Mexico. You have received a lot of good advice here. The best thing to do is be prepared in advance. Don't wait until after your surgery. Contact local doctors in your area, preferably ones with bariatric experience, and explain you will be having surgery outside of the country and would like to make arrangements for follow up care with them. Some may refuse. However, as it is becoming more and more common, you should be able to find one that is willing to work with you. He/she will probably ask that you being back specific copies of your medical records, which most of the Mexico doctors send home with you as standard practice. They will appreciate your having contacted them and made the arrangements prior to your surgery.

We have all seen Whitney do the same on this very thread. While many of her posts were removed, I still have copies of all of them. And what about Whitney's very real threats to Alex as well? She clearly threatened him. Will the judge laugh at that? Shall we put your assumptions to the test?

I continue to find it astonishing, sad and shocking what levels the Omar worshippers will stoop to simply because they believe is something did not happen to them, it could not possibly happen to anyone else. It just continues to reinforce the level of influence and power he has over these woman. It is scary and cult-like behavior.

I'm not asking for a deposition, I just don't understand why the poster felt they were going to get hammered. I really didn't understand the post in general and was hoping for better clarification so we would all understood better.

Very, very good point. And someone like Omar is probably very aware of those effects and use them to his advantage.
