  1. I feel so awful for you and that you are experiencing this. I am afraid I don't have much to offer, either, except support. Please keep us posted on how you are doing.

    Sex after Sleeve

Girl, the more weight I lost, the sexier I felt. The sexier I felt, the more I wanted to share it with my man! I think you will be fine.

I just want to feel healthy and beautiful!

OP, what on earth are you talking about? You are already beautiful!! And, now thanks to your decision to have this surgery, you will be healthier and live a longer, better life. Congratulations!

    I'm at my goal size!

AussieLady, while you may be experiencing problems of your own, that does not give you the right to attack other members of this forum. Please remember, while you are allowed to disagree, it is expected to be done in a respectful manner. Please remember that in your future posts. To the OP, I commend you. I am not sure of your reasons behind having the surgery, but I can tell you this, by the time I was 18 I knew I had a problem with food and I knew it was just going to escalate. If the sleeve had been available to me way back then, even though I was only 20 pounds overweight at that time, I darn sure would have had it done. The best way to reshape your body is by lifting weights. Cardio is fabulous for burning calories and weight loss, but lifting is best for building muscle and reshaping your body.

    Going to Mexico!? Ahhhh

Show them the credentials of the surgeon you have chosen and other information you have. Arm yourself with knowledge, it is a powerful thing. Also, remind them that Mexico is just like the U.S., there are good areas and bad areas. Assure them you will be traveling to a safe area, and most likely accompanied by your surgeons staff at all times. Medical Tourism in Mexico would not be so successful and popular if the surgeons operated out of dangerous areas, it is vital their patients are safe to help protect their reputations. Sex after Sleeve

I was also told whenever I felt comfortable, which was at about one week out. We just made sure to be very careful.
  11. Ladies, while we understand that you may be curious as to what is going on in the Man Room, Alex and I respectfully request that you refrain from posting in this forum. The purpose of having a room for the men is so they may post about subjects specific to men only, and feel comfortable in doing so. Many times these are sensitive issues, and this should be a safe place to discuss male related problems without the fear of being judged or being afraid that their issue may not be taken seriously. We will be, in turn asking the same of the men in regards to the powder Room. Thank you for your cooperation. Sent from my iPad using VST

The purpose of having a room for the ladies is so they may post about subjects specific to woman only, and feel comfortable in doing so. 13. As in any industry, there are good ones and bad ones. You want to make sure the surgeon you desire to go with is a reputable, well-educated one and that the coordinators representing him/her have a good reputation. You also want to make sure the coordinators are knowledgeable about the surgeon and the surgeries they offer. They should be able to answer any questions you may have, and if they don't have the answer be up front about it, research it and get back with you. You need to feel comfortable that they are there to not just make a buck (although yes, even coordinators need to make a living), but because they genuinely care about people and are passionate about helping them achieve their weight loss goals. Sports Bras!

You know, everyone always tells me that is the first place they lose, but that wasn't so for me. I have not lost a thing from mine, but I also was a DD in junior high when I weighed only 130 pounds. So, I think I have just always been destined to be large breasted, some say its a blessing, but I get tired of lugging these things around, lol. Sent from my iPad using VST
  17. Your Aunt sounds like a wonderful person, and so long as you and her have a close relationship, hopefully things will go well. Make sure you are prepared for any questions she may have, as many family members are scared about their loved ones having weight loss surgery, especially when having it done in Mexico. You need to be ready to explain that you have done your research, you are confident with your choice of surgery and surgeon and that you will be safe. Much luck and good wishes being sent your way, let us know how it goes. Sent from my iPad using VST
  18. Hi Shelly, I'm sorry, but we don't allow cross posting, as quoted in our rules below, therefore, I am going to close this thread. 14. Cross-Posting is not allowed here. Cross-posting refers to posting new duplicate threads or posts, or the linking to threads or posts already started by the member with the intention of gaining exposure. Another awesome sports bra for larger sizes are the Enell sports bra. They are pricey, but I got a two of them for a great deal on eBay. Sent from my iPad using VST

    Question about Alcohol ????

You are able to consume it, but you will want to be careful as most sleevers find it takes very little for them to become intoxicated. Sent from my iPad using VST
