I have a myspace, I originally got it to keep an eye on my kids. Then I started getting to know a ton of lapband people on it. Now, I tend to spend more time on facebook. I like it better and have connected with a lot of people I had been out of contact with for years.

Please, remember our rules of attack the idea and not the person. If someone indicates personal thoughts regarding their relationship with their significant other, it is not our place to put them down, ridicule them, etc. for being honest about their feelings. This is a support board, after all. Everyone goes through different phases in their lives with regards to their sexual drives/needs.

Posting to say, wow, I have to go out of town for a couple of days, come back and find I am over 15 pages behind on this thread. That will teach me for only checking in once or twice while I'll was gone. Guess I will have to get my booty on to work and then spend some time reading and catching up (sshhhhhhh, don't tell my boss!).

Posting just to see if anyone wants to make bets on how many more pointless political threads are going to be started between now and next week to discuss the exact same things that are already be argued about in the numerous political threads that already exist?

LJM, sounds like the baby is doing just fine, which is great news. Posting to say...do you guys realize that on Halloween this thread will be one year old. Does anyone besides me find it ironic that this thread was "born" on Halloween?

I don't view pro-choicer's as baby killers. I am pro-choice, but I have never killed a baby. I view them as people who do not feel the need to force their beliefs on others who have differing beliefs. I also view them as people who are intelligent enough to understand that they can not make a blanket, across-the-board law making it illegal for anyone to get an abortion when they do not know the specific circumstances behind everyone's choice that led them to that decision.

I see no reason for this thread to be closed. There has been some very interesting and intellectual debate here from both sides. As someone who is still a bit "on the fence", I have enjoyed hearing from everyone. As long as we stick to attacking the idea, and not the person, this thread shall remain open.
