Gadgetlady, The Watcher, and all in between...
*susan* replied to stevegoad's topic in Rants & Raves
I'm here to help, Plain. -
Android is the new operating system for smartphones developed by google and currently be utilized on the T-Mobile G1. It is an open source, so we say android is wide open. I want to bring Ninja Chuck Norris Android over, but Plain has instructed me not to activate him. What to do?

Plain, that would be "droppin", not "dropping. -

On another forum I am on (yes, an android forum because I am a techy geek) there is a Ninja Chuck Norris Android. I am thinking about having him visit a few threads here and open up a can of whoop a**!!

Oops, quoted that then read the rest of the posts. Guess I am going to hell too. Oh well, hopefully there everyone is treated as equals, and no one gets stoned for misbehaving.

I now picture Plain dancing like Elaine in Seinfeld. Scary.

Agreed. Like I said, if I want to be preached at, I will go to church.

BJean, if there is a hell, they definitely belong there!!!

Hi Teri. If you drink while eating, it pushes your food through your stoma, which results in your not getting full as fast. Also, many of us have problems where if we do try to take a drink while eating, it actually causes us to get stuck and pb.

Denise, has the unfill helped with the problems you were having?

I actually take the cranberry pills that Walgreen's have, it seems to help.

Hey, SNT, you have a new avatar, cool. I slept until 10:30, and it felt so good. We can be bums together. I have been sitting my lazy booty on the couch ever since. It always breaks my heart to see those stories on conjoined twins.

Lindsey, I will keep my fingers crossed for you. When I had mine, my insurance did not cover either. We ended up refinancing our home to pay for it. I have never looked back and never regretted it.

Hi Mel, I recently started a blog myself, although I have been on my journey for a while. I have found it really does help to be able to just write out all your feelings. It helps you open up to yourself and really examine yourself. I think it is a great idea for all bandsters.

Should I or Shouldn't I?

Hi there and welcome to LBT. If you have two weeks of vacation, you will be fine if you decide to get the band. Most people do fine with one week off from work. Many go back sooner, but based upon your line of work, I would definitely take a full week. The band is a tool. If you decide to go with it, you have to understand it is not going to do all the work for you. You have to be willing to commit to eating the right foods and exercise. It sounds like you already have the exercise portion down pat. The band will restrict the amount of food you are able to eat. However, if you eat junk food all the time, or eat around the band by eating things like ice cream, then you most likely won't be very successful with it. So, along with the band, you have to be willing to eat healthier foods. As far as gaining the weight back, I have not heard of many people having that problem. I believe once you reach goal, as long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle you should be fine. The great thing about the band is, if you find yourself gaining, you can always get more fill to help you control your intake again. -
