First and most importantly, Fanny, I am so glad that you weren't hurt. That must have been very upsetting. Did it say why on earth he was carrying them? I cannot believe you went there!!! If they ever do block it, I have my trusty G1 to post from. Ya gotta love smartphones! I think most of the banded people on there keep quiet about having it. I seldom mention mine, because a lot of the people on there don't know I have it either. If another of my friends comments themselves about their band, I may reply back. But if they don't mention it, neither do I. Modern day technology is the best. Just try and keep us away from FB and LBT, I dare ya!! Now your talking! Speaking of work, I should really be running my November reports right now.

What, I am hurt that Lulu is the only worthy one of being your friend on FB. Actually, I think you will see that most of us never talk about the band there. I only comment to people who are out in the open about it and they post something related to it, then I will respond. You should be safe. Now add me, damnit! Was it SNT? Snow, brrrrrrrrr, it is 57 here right now and I am absolutely freezing!!! I have my winter coat and wore gloves driving in to work this morning. I know, I am such a wimp. I guess it is all relevant to what you are used to though.

It is freezing here today. High only expected to reach 58, brrrrrr. I cannot tolerate the cold either. Fortunately, by the time I got up, dh already had a rip-roaring fire going. So, I am cozied up in front of it under my favorite quilt cruising the Internet. I agree, Lu, gotta love Sunday mornings!

Hi Carla, and welcome. I agree, you never notice how much on tv is related to food until you get a band and are on a liquid diet, lol. It is just awful. Thank goodness for tivo, you can record and fast forward through all the food ads. Anyways, we are glad to have you join us. We are all here to support each other through this journey.

Welcome back, Chelsey. I applaud you for acknowledging the problems you have been having. I recently "confessed" in another thread on this forum about the problems I have been having as well. I received some great advice and support. I think we just have to re-examine ourselves and why we got the band to begin with. We need to recapture that excitement from when we first got our bands. I have started logging everything I eat on the daily plate to start holding myself accountable. I also find looking at the before and after pictures to be extremely motivational. Lastly, like TQuad mentioned, I have started back to my local support group. It really does help just being able to see and talk with people who understand the issues we are going through and can offer us advice. Best of luck to you, I know we can do this!

I had to have my wedding rings resized. I finally decided to do it when I woke up one morning and realized my engagement ring was missing, I went into absolute panic mode. Fortunately, I found it and went the following day and had them resized.

Ok, funny ya'll should mention this. Hubby and dd went to the movie store today and this is one of the ones they came back with. We couldn't get past the first 20 minutes, we thought it was so awful. Did it get better, did we miss something? Ugh, so sorry, I was down with the flu most of this week. But, I did lose 5 pounds! Sigh, do we need to convert you to Facebook as well? We converted Plain. :tongue: Luluc, that is so sad, I feel just awful for you. You definitely deserve mass quantities of chocolate. Well, Plain doesn't post much on the weekends, but were he here, I am sure he would have a suggestion. I hope you get better fast! Head hunger is definitely the worst. Like others have said, too bad they can't band our brains!
