Ok, we now return to our regularly scheduled posting just to post topics.... Beth, I may have to give it a try. I am just afraid of getting addicted.

You could have shared some of that wine!! I would love some, but I don't think it would mix well with the pain pills. Glad to see a little life in here. Beth, I have heard so much about WOW, someday I may have to try it out. I used to play the Sims all the time. But, haven't done that in forever. I know WOW is nothing like that though. Right now I just need something to keep me entertained. LJM, I remember those 3 a.m. feedings. I loved them, they were my private special time to just sit in the rocking chair with my babies and marvel at how perfect they were. Then, they became teenagers. I sure do miss those times. Treasure them while you can.

I hate it when people post just to post.....

So, I am trying to decide if I should just go ahead and delete my Myspace or not. I am never on it anymore and I think people may get offended because they post things to me and I never answer them. I am always on Facebook. Decisions, decisions. Yeah, I am truly bored and posting just to post. I am sitting home laid up and you guys are all obviously out having fun because no one is posting in here. Off to have a self-pity party I go....

Chicken Recipes for the Picky Eater

One of mine and my families favorite chicken recipes is to throw some chicken breasts in the crockpot, still frozen. Then I add in a can of low-fat cream of chicken soup, low-fat cream of mushroom soup and low-fat cheddar cheese soup. I let it cook for eight hours. It is simple and delicious. My family loves to use the soup combination to pour over mashed potatoes as it really makes a tasty gravy.

Old Band out -- New Realize Band In

NewYorkdoll, aka rockbandster, aka surgmd1.... Am I going to have to ban your IP as all three of these names have the same IP and one of them is banned??
  12. Bamagal, if you stop stirring the pot, I am sure this thread will go back on topic like it was before you stirred things up again. Please take this advice and lets get this thread back on topic.

I have to agree with this. I really, really hate unexpected and uninvited guests!! LJM, sounds like things are going well for you in your household. Glad to hear it. Denise, you are going to have to get a facebook account to see her precious baby pictures. My doctor called in a different pain med for me and they are working much better. These don't make me sick anymore. Off to the next thread now with "The farmer and the dell" playing in my mind. Thanks for that. :cursing:

Ha ha, funny....Not!!! Oh my goodness, that is too funny. How old are they? Did you get those gifts for him? Well, then you need to be a facebooker!! Donna, I am so relieved to hear everything is ok with your band. Are you feeling better now? That is awesome. I work for a child-serving agency and we have a mentoring program. It is amazing the positive difference a good mentor can make in the life of a child. Uh-oh, what happened?? Donna, I am a step-grandma too. I have two children from my first marriage and three step-kids from this one. The oldest son has a beautiful baby boy. The middle daughter has three kids, she started when she is 15 and is just now 21. Well, I had my surgery yesterday morning. They didn't have to shave my toes!! I was ok yesterday, but I guess that was because the anesthesia had now worn off yet. I woke up this morning and thought I was going to die. I stood up and immediately became majorly lightheaded and nauseated. I spent about three hours dry-heaving (sorry if TMI) and am now hoping I didn't cause any harm to my band. I think it is ok though. DH had to work today, so he had DD stay home from school to take care of me. She force fed me crackers and made me drink some Gatorade. I am actually feeling better now. But, my foot is absolutely killing me!!! He has me on some pretty good pain medicine, but every time I take it it makes me dizzy again and very sleepy. I can't believe I have to go through this again with the other foot and am definitely not looking forward to it. And, I am not allowed to go back to work until he gives me the approval. My post-op appointment isn't until Monday afternoon. I have strict orders to keep my foot elevated, on ice and to stay off of it as much as possible. So, I am already bored out of my mind. Needless to say, I will be spending a lot of time on the forums and sleeping. Keep me entertained guys! LJM, how are things going with Joshua. I love seeing all the pictures you post of him, he is such a cutie. How does dd like being a big sister?
  15. I try to keep my comments to myself as much as possible when it comes to this thread. But, I do feel the need to say that it may be your body, but the child you are carrying and considering aborting is yours and it's fathers, therefore, if he is involved and interested, he should have a say as well.
  16. Bamagal, if you check the dates, there hasn't been any arguing on here in several days. So please, don't try and start it up again. Thank you.

Ugh, that doesn't sound good, maybe a little overfilled? Let us know what you find out, I hope everything turns out ok. Me too!!! Is the pillow ok??? Just kidding, hope your elbow feels better. Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Surgery is tomorrow morning at 8:00. They said I have to be there at 6:00 a.m., which seems just silly to me.

A New Year and a New Me

Hi there, what an awesome way to start of the New Year! Congratulations!

    Newbie!!!

Hi there. Have you tried posting in the insurance forum? I believe I have seen quite a few members there with Tricare who might be able to offer you some advice on the process. I will keep my fingers crossed for you, good luck!

    Hello from Cali!

Hi there and welcome! Yes, to be successful with the band, you will need to visit your doctor regularly and get fills as needed. But, it is definitely worth it, in my opinion. Good luck, keep us posted as your journey progresses and let us know if you have any questions.
  22. Hi Lotta, and welcome to LBT. I was private pay, so I am not experienced with how insurance will react if you don't lose any weight, or only lose a small amount during the supervised diet. But, I thought I would post and bump your thread so hopefully someone will see it who can answer your question. Best of luck to you.

If you start getting tons of sores and built up skin on them, have them checked. And, thanks, I hope I heal up quickly too! One can't throw away pie. I only ate a small piece though. I gave the rest to my daughter's friends. Thanks, Denise. Definitely check out Facebook, it is where all of us cool kids hang out! Man, I wasn't expecting to wake up to such cold temperatures today, and it is supposed to be colder tomorrow. I want my warm, sunny Florida weather back now.

Old Band out -- New Realize Band In

There is no HIPPA violation here. HIPPA is to protect the patient, in this case, the patient is the one who posted about their own medical case. SurgMD1, we noticed you have the same IP address as Rockbandster, coincidence???
