Hi Gina, welcome to LBT. Stay strong, this stage is tough, but in the long run it will be 100% worth it! -
Taps, have a wonderful trip, but you will be missed here. Donna, we included our kids in our Valentine's celebration as well. I had a few drinks, but I did not fall down and bust my lip. I'm sorry, I cracked up when I read that. How is it today?

Ok, aside from it non being particularly attractive, how is she able to move around and support her belly?

Anyone notice Post Banders are a bit snobbish?

I'm sorry, but I only have one thing to say to all of you... ALL HAIL THE ADMINISTRATOR!!!!! Awwwww, I am just kidding. -
I am sitting here eating a bowl of double chocolate fudge ice cream.

Here ya go, Lulu, I'll share...

Sorry to those of you going through tough times at work. Sending lots of big hugs and support your way. I didn't know koala's were mean, they look so cute and friendly in the photos. I have officially decided that even though my next doctor appointment is until Tuesday, I am clearing myself to go back to work on Monday. I can't take much more of sitting here on my couch doing nothing!!

Wow, I am just speechless. Dan, don't be a stalker.
-
Tap, I am glad to hear you got the relief you needed!!
-
That is the worst feeling, I am glad you are getting it taken care of it. Being overfilled is nothing to mess around with. Congratulations. Seriously, could you imagine being married to that guy? :crying: I love the koala pictures. I believe they have got to be the cutest animals on the face of the earth. Wouldn't it be awesome to have one as a pet. I know, I know, I can't, but a girl can dream.

When is support not really support?
*susan* replied to BethFromVA's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Dan, I believe the OP said she was not experiencing or blaming her spouse for any failure. She was simply stating she would like him to be a little more supportive of her by understanding what she can and cannot handle in her life at this time. She has not asked him to change his lifestyle, she is simply requesting that he understand and support her in what she must do right now to lose weight. I don't see where she was "blaming" him for anything. -

Ok, you have already been warned once by Laura, this is the last warning. Take the personal fights to pm or I will close this thread. Get back on topic. If you cannot have a reasonable, respectable conversation without attacking someone, then perhaps it is best to back off. Thank you. -
Yep, I love the smiley add-on for Firefox. Has there been any greater development in the English language than the phrase of "WTF"? I mean really, it speaks for everything, every emotion, every mood. I love it. It is one of my favorite phrases. Where??? Can you post a link, please??

Fish burps?? Ewwwww.

I am so sorry for you and your loss. Like others, reading your post brought tears to my eyes. Know that you are loved here and many, many people are sending comforting, loving thoughts your way.

Hi AuntieDee! We are so glad to have you join us. I am sorry to hear about your back problems, but glad that the band will hopefully be able to help you get the surgery you need. Please keep us posted on how you are doing and let us know if you have any questions.

Am I in your mob? More importantly, are you in mine??? AC is Android Community. It feeds my geeky phone passion. As for Facebook, it is amazing reconnecting with friends from high school, former coworkers, relatives I don't see very often, etc. Have you clicked on the friend finder? You can search employers, high schools and you can have it check your email to see if anyone you email is on Facebook. I also like joining groups so I can talk to people that have similar interests to mine. Such as phone geeks, storm chasing, etc. Once you get to exploring, there is really a lot you can do there. Beth, sometimes I am a little bit afraid of you. That is awful. I feel terrible for everyone there! Come on, SNT, you know you want to check it out. So, I went for my post-op appointment today. I really thought I would be cleared to go back to work. I am soooo bored of sitting on my couch doing nothing. He changed the dressing, said I am healing well but there is still quite a bit of swelling. He said I am still restricted to staying off my feet, keeping my foot elevated at all times, icing it every hour and using my crutches until at least my next appointment. That isn't until a week from tomorrow! I may go stir crazy by then. I am going to have work fax me some of my stuff so I can at least not get too far behind. The worst part though, I missed the shoot-out and now I am going to miss the Daytona 500 this weekend too! He wouldn't clear me to go, I am so upset! I guess I am stuck watching it from my couch. Yes, I am once again having a self-pity party.

Facebook is addictive. I think I am going to pass on WOW. Between Facebook, LBT and AC I really don't have time for anything else. Plus, there are some really interesting twitter feeds that I am following that are almost like a soap opera and quite addictive as well. If you like the trashy romance novels and are on Twitter, follow secrettweet!! I have my post-op appointment at 3:30 today and am hoping I get the ok to go back to work. I can literally feel myself gaining weight sitting here on my butt doing nothing. I wonder how long it will be before I am allowed to go back to the gym?

Wow, I have heard of some people having real problems with becoming addicted to it.
