Hi Susan. I am so sorry that I did not get back to you. I didn't even know about "visitor messages". I just came upon this page and saw that you had sent me a message. I am doing great. I got my second fill yesterday in Houston. I now have 4.6 cc's in my 10 cc band. I have lost 46 pounds and feel so good!! Let me know how you are doing. I now know about these messages, so I will check them more often. Again... sorry I did not respond before now. Please keep in touch and take good care of yourself!!! Becky

Hey Ashley! I fell off the wagon too....went on a long trip to Ireland and it was so difficult....but I am vowed to stay with this and get off sugar again too! We can do this I know we can! Thanks for sharing! susan

Its susan how are you? I am going in for my second fill tomorrow. I have done pretty well, but I definitely need that next fill. I have really started excercising about 6 days a week and that is going well. I am anxious to see how much I have lost tomorrow. Keep in touch! blessings

Dr. Curry was $13,000.00. That includes two years of fills and followup with his dieticians. I think they have a great program and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Hey My husband and I are getting ready to fly on a trip. My doc says to not eat on the flight because of tightness in the air. Does anyone know if you are allowed to drink?

Hey everyone! I didn't know there was a 50's and older forum! I've had one fill and have hit a bit of a plateau, but the good thing is that my workouts are consistant and I am hanging in there to bust this plateau! Would love to hear from any other bansters of any age! -

I also would not worry about slippage yet either, it does sound like you are too tight. My doc says slippage happens mostly later,like a year or so out and if you don't follow the rules. I know that when you are too tight you can't even swallow your spit. I would just wait until the doc sees you! Hang in there -
Love your idea for the star bucks protein shake! I had some old medifast to use up and tried the pumkin spice recipe on the side. It is very good, just use one envelope of the vanilla mix and all Cinnamon, and pumkin pie spice to this.....it would also work with vanilla protein powder, also vanilla pudding with protein powder, Good luck

b- 2 eggs, one whole wheat toast l- 2 cups salad with 2 oz turkey 4 oz chicken, green Beans 1 oz turkey for a snack. Drank my Water and also had one Fuze drink between meals

I don't have any good recipes with lentils, but I do eat a lot of split pea and black bean soup. Good luck, I'll be happy to share these recipes. suse

Thanks Cher for the hints! I think the 3 rules are great to remind all of us. I have only had one fill and have to really remind myself to eat slowly and take small bites. thanks susan
