Good idea, it can be so long for their little minds to wait! Glad u will do a video, just bet there are women who are so curious to what you are going thru. Would be good to share the difference the band is making thru ur pregnancy. Again, I am so glad for younger women having this tool, and to grow healthier with their children. I believe, I have added years onto my life, to be ready (when the time comes) for the grandchildren! But it is fun, just keeping up with my young guys now. Can you come do the walk with us? As a fam? Also, did your nausea go away, seems like you have not mentioned it, so I hope so! Hope to see u on the 26th!

Hello John & Lovely wife! We'd be glad to have you both walk! A link to the walk is in my signature...think I will form a team...since we have...7 of us already! (My dear hubby and sons, too!) Yes, we will be going to the Sept 26th support meeting @ Kaiser Point West, 11:00, with lunch after! It will be a pleasure to meet you (hopefully we will be meeting a few other new banders and Pre-ops!) Will look forward to meeting your wife at the next one! We range about 20-25 people, sometimes more, now that summer is over. We start out as a joint meeting with Bypass AND Band Patients, Pre-ops and Post, sometimes even a sleeve patient is there! Then half way thru, we separate to 2 groups (surgery specific) and enjoy networking/sharing experiences! No prob on the questions, why we are here!

Hello Richmond and more bandsters! Riley, maybe I cant do a full one yet, but I can cheer u ladies on in the Sac one! So excited bout the 5K tho, you go girl, again u inspire me, I am about at 19-20 min miles, so I have hope! I even took a speed walk class once, so of course I will try and step it up for this one. Have just done day 2 around where we have done the course, working on my computerchair 2 5K! Jes, wow, what will hubby do, once banded? Watch out! Can I try the dress? I heard shoe sizes change tooo, hehe. We are here for you and Candra...where is she? Sleepin? So on the team name, like u said, not sure how much ladies want it known, dont know if we could get tshirts, I do like Band o' Buddies, of course we ladies the SOS!

Speaking of Walking.... I would like to invite all of you to our Annual Mercy Ministries 5K, in Lincoln on Saturday, Oct. 10th! This is the 3rd year I will be doing it, it is a local fun Family Run/Walk, only 5K at 9:00 in the morning. Please come to walk, cheer on or just even hang out that Saturday morn! Since we will probably be done by 11:00 AM, would like to also invite you all to a BANDSTERS BRUNCH at my home afterwards! Thought this would be a great way to get together, activity and brunch, with families! The walk is really a blast, growing each year, one of my son Roller blades it, hubby and other son run it, I walk it...many strollers, little kids all kinds of family to enjoy! If we have enough, perhaps we can do a team? PLEASE Personal message me, as soon as possible, if you would like to plan on it, if not for the 5K, just even the brunch...(you can start cooking the eggs, hehehe). See the link below... P.S. Let us know anything we can do, as Chris says, awesome quick no pain recoveries to the both of you with great thoughts and prayers! Riley woman, just as I got home yesterday it began to rain, it really was so cool, went out again today to prep for the 5K, awesome sky, nice and cool fall breeze to move in! You inspire us, walkin momma! How is our sweet T, welcome home, hi Pam, Nicole, Reggie, Chris, Candi, John and all! By the way, got just about all my blood tests back, from what I can tell, everything is lookin good! Now for Doc to ck out, and let me know how doin. Will be good to hear how you all do on your 6 month lab tests! (The vitamins do show!) hehehe Also, our exercising and of course, cholesterol.

Hi Emily and Welcome! I too have been banded at SSF, have seen you on other threads...so glad you came here! Do you live in the area of Sac? This here...is a great group of ladies, for support, friendship, shoulders...the best! I have nicknamed us Banded SOS (Sisters of Surgery) lol. We have a support group meeting at KAISER POINT WEST, right near the Arden Mall. We meet EVERY 4TH SATURDAY, OUR NEXT MEETING IS SEPT 26TH 11:00 - 1:00! We have a great group of banders that attend and usually do lunch afterwards! Sometimes we also get together for other activities and usually lunch, mid month. Please join us! :w00t:
