I suffered from obesity almost my whole life. I decided to change my life 2008. I was banded in November, 2008 and haven't looked back since. It's been a huge struggle, but like everything else, I have to get through it!
There is nothing wrong with taking time to do something for YOU! Especially if you take care of others. Commit to taking time out of the day to focus on YOU, even if just for 15 mins.
