  3. Hey there! I don't know how much you are supposed to lose in the beginning. I started my liquid diet 3 days pre-op and during those 3 days I lost 5 lbs I believe. Another lady that had her surgery the same day as me by the same doctor has lost 18 I think. I'm sure once you get your first fill the weight will start to come off! Don't be discouraged! :)

    Hi there, that is awesome! 16.5 ibs is great. I am 2 weeks post op as well but i have been on mushy for a week know. DO you happent o know the norm. of weight loss for 2 weeks post cause i certainly have not lost 16.5 and i want too!!!! thanks

    I'm Hungry

    Hi everyone, I am exactly 2 weeks post op and am starting to get hungry. I also the SF Jello and puddings and it seems to help. 2oz of soup! I can eat a whole cup, I am getting nervous that I am just going to go back to eating all the time. A whole will usually do me good for like 2-3 hours but then I want more. Is this normal. and Does anyone know what the normal weight loss or average is for 2 weeks post? Some insite would be cool. thanks:drool:oh yeah, Lot s of water!!

    Thank you everyone for the good ideas. I was done by Dr. Randall in Medford, he is great. What a long strange trip this has been. As far as the protien powder goes where do I get that? Is it flavor less so that it can be added to anything? I really did not know how hard it was going to be to try to eat so much and get all the protien in that I need while my stomach is full, it has been a challenge but a good one that I am ready to take on!
  7. Hi Everyone, I am new to the site and jsut wanted to say Hi. I was banded on 8/20 and am just starting to feel better. I had this terrible burning itching pain where the port was implanted and it stuck out or felt like a golf ball. I guess it was just healing cause the swelling has gone done and the pain is subsiding. I have started he mushies today and put some chicken and green beans in a blender and it was the best meal I ever ate! However, I am having trouble getting enough protein in so if anyone has suggestions I would love to know and also I have some ricotta sheese but I have no clue what to mix it with the make it more interesting. Any ideas?? Well there's my intro talk to you all soon. Elizabeth
