    Dr, Lee Trotter Spokane Washngton

Thank you for the warm welcome. I had my surgery 10/20/08. My highest weight was 305 late August 2008. The day of my surgery I weighed in at 292 (13 pound loss pre-op) and I am now at 201 (91 lost since surgery). I have been fighting to make it under 200 for about 3-4 weeks. It is like I am at stand still. I am going to start Water aroebics again tomorrow. I stopped about 4 months ago due to an injury (I fell at work at messed up my back, neck and from an MRI last week, found out I have a tear in my right shoulder muscle). I plan on being careful but I just need to get moving again. I have been doing physical therapy 2 times a week along with massage therapy 2 times a week and finally feeling good enough to give it another go! Take care and I look forward in reading about all of you and your experiences. Renee'

    eastern washington banders

Hi All, I am looking at getting banded in late Sept. I will be at the informational meeting on 9/3/08 at Dr. Trotter's office. After a fairly long battle with Group Health (it was an exclusion) I have now turned my energy in paying for it myself. I was looking at the total bypass before but now that I have to pay, the band is more affordable. I have read the threads since December of 2007 and really thought what a great group of support on this forum. I am 43, married, mom of 2 and grandmother of 2. Thank you for the opportunity to read your thoughts, encouragment, advise, frustrations and words of support. I hope to meet some if not all of you as I continue on my journey to become healthy again! Renee'

    Dr. Trotter's Group

:tt2: Hi All... I plan on going to one of the seminars nextweek to see about the Lap Band through Dr. Trotter. I have to self pay (after a long battle of appeals) so I am researching all the options. If anyone has used Dr Trotter for the Lap Band surgery, please let me know how your experience has been so far. Thank you, Renee'
