What are normal symptoms after surgery

I was also banded on the 17th,today I am feeling pretty good. I am on clear liquid diet and can only have 3oz at each meal, today is the first day I can say I am starving,so what kind of diet is everyone else doing? Am getting tired of chicken broth am just looking for some different ideas. -
I will be going in for my pre surgery testing tomorrow morning. Anyone know if I should go in fasting? I should have called on fri but dident get a chance and it will be 2 early in the morning to call the Dr office.

I got the call on Fri. I did the 6 mo diet and only lost 1 lb but my insurance approved me. I am so excited, am looking at maybe in july.:laugh::smile:

I was denied from my insurance the letter I got said that The medical necessity was not established and that there was no Documentation of failure of weight loss with medical supervision within the 2 years preceding the surgery. So now I guess I have to go on a 6 mo dr supervised diet. Has anyone else had to do this? And what kind of Diet were you on?

Thanks for the reply ,I will be meeting with the weight loss center that works with my surgeon tommrow to see what my options are.So did you loose weight on the 6 mo diet?

Thanks for your help Restless,yes I do drive a bigrig but dont have to do any lifting just opening the doors and like you said climbing in and out,I have 1 week vac and will prob take 1 week unpaid just wanted to make sure that was enough time off. -
I drive a truck and need to know how much time I should take off work? Does anyone else drive and if so how much time off did you need?

I went to my DR he filled out his paperwork and I have an appointment with the Surgeon and and a psychological evaluation both on Sept 19 I will be sending all my paperwork in next week.
